The place was easily accessible and out of the way at the same time. Nice fire pit by the water, kayaks to use at the dock on fcfs basis. Highly recommend this place

It was so peaceful and quiet. My husband and I celebrated our 5th anniversary at starlight haven and it was so relaxing. Everything was so clean and the tent was the cutest thing. We had a good time and the host were just as great as everything else. They were very prompt to answering any questions we had. All around, I'd rate them stars 🌟

My wife and I took two of our kids, age 5 and 11. The two beds in the loft were perfect. We arrived on Friday and left midday on Sunday. We did not leave the property at all. It was fantastic.

Starlight Haven is the perfect getaway from city life while still having all the comforts at your fingertips! The dome was clean and cozy and the hot tub was the perfect way to end the night. It was also so wonderful to have access to kayaks to explore the lake. 10/10!

Starlight Haven was a perfect weekend-
glamping get away. The view was very pleasant and the amenities were perfect for what we needed. We enjoyed using the grill and sharing our meals on our porch looking at the lake. The place was very clean and cozy. They even had a couple board games stocked. I would highly recommend as a peaceful get away! The team was also responsive. One thing I’ll say is that the domes are relatively close to one- another which was fine with us, but not the most private getaway. Still ample space, and more space than what you would get in a traditional camping setting between sites.

The domes are nice. They're air tight so don't forget to set the AC before you go out for the day. Not a complaint, just want to help out future campers.

Camellia Geodesic Dome
We stayed in one of the geodomes by the lake and it was great! Nice kitchen and bathroom with everything needed included. Definitely a great glamping experience! We’ll be back. Check out the Little Rock River hiking too, very pretty. Rome Georgia had a cute little downtown area with restaurants and shops.

Overall I had a good experience, staff was very helpful. Accommodations were very nice. Wifi was not good at all through my 5 day stay. 7mb speed, not enough to play a movie without lag. There is a dock on the property but it's not on the lake as I thought. It's on an adjoining creek. Fishing was not very good. They do have kayaks and a nice launch. The domes and cabins were very close together. This place has great potential . It's very remote and there is very little to do close by. Perhaps the summer would be a better f
I would have preferred more distance and privacy, for the price per night. That being said I would still recommend this place.

Wow. Nothing about this place is by accident. I was impressed before we ever even walked into our geo dome. Then even more so as we did! I’ve traveled all over the United States and been overseas and this is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. This was only a stop along the way to the Ozarks for my son and I, but I would plan a relaxing extended Stay completely for this place.

My family of four stayed a few nights in one of the Geodesic Domes. It did not disappoint! Upon arriving, you could see the property is very well kept. The deck offered patio furniture, a swinging egg chair and a ready bubbly hot tub. The Dome was much more larger than I expected. It was clean, well organized and inviting. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedding smelt very fresh. Our children had an absolute blast and loved sleeping under the stars in the loft. The showers were hot, the water pressure was perfect and the towels are luxury plush. The Dome sits right in front of a lake where you can watch the sunrise/sunset, fish and kayak(property provided them), or just relax and enjoy the view. I was able to throw together quick meals in the kitchenette and keep our drinks chilled with the mini fridge. The hot tub was by far my favorite part! It was a new model with many functions for massaging and lighting. It also was very clean with FRESH water. There are very few lights on at night and you can see the whole sky light up with stars. This was the perfect spot for us to unwind and spend some quality family time together.
For a future stay I would love to have a private fire pit at our dome. Although a shared one is still good,
We like to cook over a fire and enjoy the extra privacy.

Beautiful glamping experience! Stayed here for New Years Eve in one of the safari tents, #11, Pecan, was away from the ground & had 2 egg chairs, a hot tub & grill outside. Inside was a beautiful, soft, full-size bed, as well as 2 extra blankets & a strong heater, a white porcelain tub with a removable shower-head, thick, large, plush white towels, then in the kitchen, a Keurig, with basic plate-ware, mini fridge, microwave, as well as a little eating area. There’s also a large TV & the board game, Scrabble. Things to keep in mind: this is still “glamping”; light is limited after dark both outside & inside the tent; the water in the tub wasn’t hot; lukewarm at best. Pro-tip: for an easy dinner option, we got hot dogs, baked beans & chips at the Ingles, about 20 minutes away & heated in microwave. It felt like a romantic and unique experience, overall. The Weiss Lake glistens. We got to visit Mentone, AL during the day to see the hippie/art culture scene there, super cool. Didn’t get a chance to meet anyone while glamping, but the privacy was nice & appreciated. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Starlight Haven! We stayed in the Camelia dome. It had a great view, was clean and comfortable, and the hot tub was an amazing bonus! There was very minimal light on the property, so you could really see the stars at night. The host was very responsive as well. Would definitely stay there again.

We found this as a last second trip when Other plans fell through and boy were we lucky. The domes are beautiful and really well designed. You can tell they are putting a lot of time and effort into the land it will be gorgeous in a couple years time with trees and what not. The lake and kayaking was great and two beautiful parks within a half hour drive. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an outdoor type experience who doesn’t want to sleep on the ground.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Starlight Haven on a Wednesday night, and we had a wonderful experience. We stayed in the Cherokee tent, which was beautifully designed and very well thought out. Even my usually picky girlfriend had trouble finding anything to complain about!
The tent is set back about a hundred yards from the water, offering a lovely view, and there’s a dock with kayaks available to take out on the water. The tents are spaced relatively close together, so renting a few with a group would be ideal for enjoying the whole space. We loved having the place to ourselves during the week.
There’s a shared firepit for all the tents, which felt a bit unusual, but it could be meant to encourage a communal vibe. Or maybe individual fire pits are in the works!
Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely return. The setup is thoughtful, and they’re doing a great job with it

We loved staying at Jennifer’s dome for the evening! We were traveling through Hot Springs and stopped just for the night but wish we could have stayed longer. It was just as described and we loved how unique of a stay this was!
