Smoky Bottom Farms offers campers many different options to accommodate your primitive camping needs. A homestead occupied by my wife and I, Hipcampers ourselves, consisting of approximately three acres of beautiful property in a low lying bottom of the surrounding topography. Only 2 miles from "Buckshot Speedway", dirt track fans can enjoy the ultimate weekend. Campsites are approximately 40' x 40' allowing plenty of room for tents, car or hammock camping. Extra amenities, depending on availability, at additional cost, such as towels, all natural bug deterrent body wash, all natural bug deterrent laundry detergent, firewood, fire pit, fire starters, bbq grill, etc. Additional options are subject to change and highly recommended to submit request ahead of arrival to help better assist you. We accept Venmo, Cashapp and Facebook Pay. Check in after 2:00 p.m. and check out is 12:00 p.m. Early check in and late check out available for a small fee if available. Nice, quiet spot in a rural setting. Rocky was a great host. He had a fire ring and wood all set up for us. And he let us fill our water tank before leaving. The campsite was flat and easily accessible in our Transit campervan.

Absolutely amazing site especially considering they just had severe weather and not even a 2 miles up the rd a tornado came through. Rocky provided a fool-proof fire set up, maintained and level site, saw we were a little confused from our headlights and came out and guided us in. He could charge double and we’d still come back!

I had some last minute free time to go camping and Rocky’s site was a perfect fit. It was fairly close to home and a fantastic value. Rocky was super nice. He had the fire pit, wood, and a trash bag all set to go. I had a very enjoyable stay. I felt very safe. There was minimal animal or road noise at night. I will definitely be back.

Rocky and his wife are very warm hosts. We received fresh eggs and tomatoes. The campsite is great and spacious. We stayed for two nights.

Great place for a srop over while we travel to.florida! we will def be back :) peaceful, private and our hoat was very generous and helpful. wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the front porch and have a bonfire in their cool fire pit :) will def be back

Good intentions but

Like camping in your backyard, what could go wrong. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating. Unfortunately, the road noise was much more than expected on what I thought was a backcountry road. And more distressing was the dog next-door that was clearly disturbed by our presence, and never really stopped barking throughout the night, becoming worse come morning. I still think you could use this site for a low fee in a very sparse Hipcamp area. If you just need to pitch your tent and get some rest it could work but didn’t for me. Sorry, Rocky.
