Absolutely loved it here and wish we could have stayed longer. We did tent camping and it was so peaceful and beautiful, many sites to camp and private. Just behind the tent sites was a wonderfully maintained RV park with very clean bath houses, pools, and play areas for kids. We came up for 1 night as a couple and want to come back soon for 2 nights with our kids, one of the nicest spots we’ve found to camp.

This RV community was beautiful. There are many sites along the lake with picturesque views. There are plenty of activities on the grounds and the staff could not have been more friendly. I highly recommend staying here!

We planned a few days here for our anniversary. This resort is absolutely gorgeous! Manicured grounds and top notch facilities! Brittany was awesome and the other staff took pride in their work. It was obvious everyone loved working here! The general store was quaint and had all the necessities! We will absolutely be back often!

Stunning Water's Edge Camping
We were looking for a halfway point to our destination and found this gem. The view from our site was amazing. My kid enjoyed the pool and doing the scavenger bingo. The bath house had plenty of room and amazing water pressure. Would definitely stay again.

We love this campground. We had a perfect spot at 209. The people are super friendly and helpful. I loved seeing the petting area and the quaint county store. There were plenty of dog bag poop stations so no excuse not picking up after your fur babies. My only recommendation would be on the hiking trail. I followed the red dots but sadly got to an area that had nothing posted. After going thru several clearings I had to retrace my tracks. The first part of the trail was wonderful! We don’t have small children but if we did, this park is very kid friendly with a jumping pillow, playground, and two swimming pools. The campsites themselves are level with table and fire ring. Plenty of space! We will come back. Thank you so much.

We had such an exceptional experience! Me and my wife cannot compliment this stay enough! Upon arrival everything was well explained and we were led to our campsite where we had multiple options to choose from. We even had a fire pit brought to us the homemade cookies were also a plus! We recommend this place to anyone in the area or traveling through! We were able to camp right on the Coosa river and it was so beautiful! Best experience on the app so far!

We love this place. The pretty zoo is so cute. My kids loved the jump pillow. Unfortunately, the pools were open but there was still plenty to do. We played Gaga ball, fed the animals, went hiking on the trails, played on the “beach” and even rented a paddle boat. There was a lot to do and everyone there was so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again!

We stayed in our truck camper and had the best time! The views were gorgeous, fishing was good, farm animals were adorable and the folks were so kind and accommodating!! We would 1000% stay here again!

Fantastic place! Highly recommend, very nice crowd, welcoming staff, outstanding view that offer full hookups, playground, pool, pet farm, laundry,hot showers,grocery store in area for easy needs and aquatic sports and affordables rentals available. Daily,short and long stays are welcomed. Stayed one night, and came back for a whole month! A must see in AL👏

A beautiful peaceful lake this time of year. Not many rv’s and we had our whole camp sight on the point to ourselves. There’s a general store and bathrooms. It looks like during season it can be very busy and is set up with a petting zoo, playground, ect. In October with the chilly nights it was quiet and though we weren’t very secluded, we had lots of space all to ourselves!

My husband and I stayed three nights at the site in front of the lake and we didn’t expect to love the place as much as we did. We normally stay in state parks and were nervous to book on Hipcamp but this was a wonderful experience. The views every morning of the sunrise, the sunset and the reflections of the mountain on the lake are absolutely breathtaking and no matter where you look it’s just beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities available. We swam in the lake, went kayaking, and even visited a corral with the cutest farm animals and a charming little donkey who freely struts around. The property is very clean and the owners ensure the entire place is in perfect condition for their guests. Stephanie was very kind and responsive to any questions we had. Water’s Edge Camping is definitely a place to return to, we can’t wait to go back.

We had a great time at Greensport RV Park & were impressed with how quiet and spacious it seemed, given the amount of rvs it can accommodate. We paddle boarded on the lake, swam in the pool, enjoyed the animals nearby and felt we had everything we needed. The dog park & wash area was the perfect touch for a dog friendly area as well. Would definitely return!

Very large RV park set lake side. Many varieties of campers from short to long stays. It’s a very family oriented park and busy during the day, but since it’s so large nothing seemed over crowded. I had a very pretty and quiet lot in the new 700’s section. It was still under construction, but 150ft put me at the lake.
