Point Mallard Park also features a 3-mile trail ideal for hiking, jogging, and biking, along with a driving range for golf practice. Families can gather at our picnic tables or pavilions to enjoy the serene green spaces. Throughout the year, the park hosts exciting events such as the Daikin Festival in May, the Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic on Memorial Day Weekend, the Spirit of America Festival on July 4th, and the Battle for Decatur, a Civil War reenactment during Labor Day weekend.
