Escape to a private campsite in rural Alabama. The property is surrounded by forest and wildlife. There are several places to hang a hammock and plenty of room for outdoor games like cornhole. The city of Columbus is about 25 minutes away and offers white water rafting, zip lining, axe throwing, a river-walk, and other activities. There are plenty of lakes and rivers to go fishing. Auburn is about 40 mins away. The site offers an outhouse, fire pit, fire pit grill rack for cooking, platform (which can be used for small/medium tents, or to hold a table and chairs) and a hiking trail that is about 1/3 of a mile. Small cars are able to access campsite and park at site pretty easily. The property also has natural wildlife like coyotes, snakes, spiders, ants, etc.. Alabama can also get very hot during June, July, August. Please prepare accordingly. Meeting at the front of the property is not needed, just drive to your hipcamp and set up 🙂 Please message me about any concerns! About us: My wife and I bought this property in 2020 with the goal of turning this land into a homestead. We plan on building a home eventually and have cleared out our homesite. My mom and stepfather live at the front of the property and can help you if needed. My stepfather is retired and my mother works as a nurse assistant in town. It’s a nice country experience, I believe you will enjoy!This site offers a platform that is about 12x8feet, a firepit, trashcan and outhouse. Williams property was the best! perfectly secluded and beautiful. we loved the hiking in the surrounding towns and the nature both in the parks and on the property. we will definitely be staying at william’s again!

We have visited this site before and it was clean , well stocked , and the host was very responsive. Sometime you find something very special and in my opinion , this is special. Lots of time and effort has got into this site. The grasss is always cut, there is a trash can at your finger tips, a outhouse that has bug spray, stink spray , toilet paper and other items. The trail to walk your dog around is well kept and inviting to walk. The host takes pride in his site and truly wants to see folks happy at his place, they even left us a nice campfire treat.

My wife and I love the outdoors, but we love the feeling of being isolated, and for the most part Williams land feels just like that, we have no kids so I can not say if kids would like it but we do... the directions were fine and being near a family dollar and dollar general within 15 miles makes it 👌 to forget something and run up and get it. Love the lights at night, William did a very nice job on the site.

This place was a cozy spot in the woods. Camping site was very clean, level, safe, quiet and private. The little loop to walk our pup in the woods was so enjoyable for the pup and the wifey and me. Would stay again!!

I'm almost hesitant to review this spot because it was perfect! Secluded, dogs could roam, and quiet. I'll go back....

Pine and Oak is absolutely beautiful!! The site is a clearing in the woods that you can drive to. We easily made it in a sedan. The spot is completely secluded, so extremely private! The trails were well maintained, and it was lovely to take a stroll and commune with nature! There is an outhouse that is exceptionally clean, and well stocked!! The camp site is quite large, and very well maintained! There is a very nice deck you can put your tent on, a nice picnic table, and a lovely fire pit (with a grate). There is only very limited light pollution out there, so you can see a night sky loaded with stars! We even saw some meteors! They have solar lights that come on as it gets dark. There is even one by the outhouse! They definitely provided a wonderful getaway from the city! We ended up sleeping under the stars, and it was magical! I can't wait to go back!!

Perfect little secluded spot. Well maintained and the outhouse was very clean. Solar lights were a nice touch as well.

Great campsite! Super private but not hard to get to, there was plenty of firewood and even a basket of smores makings when we arrived :)

We really enjoyed our stay at this camp! It had lots of space and good accommodations - a full supply of firewood, an outhouse stocked with essentials, and trash bin with plenty of extra bags. It was a great location for us as we were visiting some nearby state parks. We look forward to coming back in the near future.
