This is not a low rating. This is just an experience rating relative to my lifestyle. I really enjoyed the fact that it was easy to find and excellent directions and the host was quite gracious . In addition I can add that the site remodeling is really great. Loved what is going on at the newly renovated shower house. All that said, I stopped there just for a travel night and noted that it isn't a place I would want to spend 3 or 4 days at just camping unless maybe I was hiking at some nearby state parks and preserves. I like camping that is more secluded and further into the woods. None-the-less when traveling from point A to point B and needing a camp site to settle in for the night in the back of my 4 runner, I found this site to be a sweet spot. Inexpensive, clean bath house, good host.
