Learn more about this land: We are a campground and retreat center two miles from Mardis Mill Waterfall and swimming hole, four miles from King’s Bend Overlook park, and fifteen miles from Palisades Park. Our grounds include sandstone glades, a cleared meadow, and restoration forests. We are a sixteen acre campground and retreat center in the Locust Fork River Watershed. We are just getting started and offering primitive camping in our space. Camping is available at cleared spaces in the forest or in the field beside the main house, a small cabin. We are working on the cabin and will be on site, you are welcome to use the bathroom and shower while you are here. Campsites in the woods are about a three minute walk from the cabin and parking area, or you can camp in the open field by the cabin and be closer to your car.

Camping in a Glade Forest
I really enjoyed my stay on Lindsey's land! Lindsey was an amazing host. She was very helpful and kind. She pointed out several nearby natural attractions such as Mardis Mill falls. She also had plenty of firewood on site and even delivered a bunch directly to my site! I had my pick of sites as I was the only primitive camper on site. There was a guided hike down to Cornelius Falls during my stay and WOW was it beautiful! The retreat was still under construction during my stay, but they have done a fantastic job setting up the sites. This place will be even more awesome when they're done with it. I can't wait to see how it all turns out! I'll definitely be back!
