I originally planned to tent camp for five nights as I passed through on a long road trip tour of southern states. It was so wonderful I stayed two weeks! I camped in spot #2 along the creek with my dogs and all of us relaxed and enjoyed every single day to the fullest. From long walks in the creek, to exploring the farm and the fishing pond with a covered dock that is home to, chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks, quail and even a pair of peacocks! The site was level, clean and HUGE, and the walk to the camper pavilion, outdoor (cold) shower and flushing toilet was not far at all. The owners, Alicia and CJ were kind and very laid back. This is a FARM, surrounded by other farms and country properties, in the woods, so expect to hear nigh time noises and early rooster crows. I cannot wait to go back, hopefully When all the magnolia trees are in bloom. Although I do not have kids traveling with me, the families that came over the weekends all loved it too!

I really enjoyed my time at Creekside. The tent spots were well spaced out, and night was quiet. Loved seeing all the animals, and walking around. The owners were super nice.

I really enjoyed this little spot. Nice creek to walk in. The kitchen area is funky but it was extremely useful in our case.

Awesome place, great sites, and fantastic hosts!!!! The Creek road runs clear "if not raining" and or dogs live the freedom.
It was also my Grandson's first camping experience!

This is our favorite place to be in nature close to New Orleans. The creek hike to the swimming hole is our favorite part. But the kid also really love fishing at the pond and seeing all the poultry.

Best spot around. It supports our desire to be in nature and still have access to fresh water and be in a safe environment. There are friendly dogs who love pats and they got along well with our pup. 11/11 Will return again! - Tom & Elizabeth

Our site was spacious and not too close to others, but the large pile of old tires beside the site was a detraction. The bigger issue was noise, though - roosters woke us up at 3 a.m. and kept us up the rest of the night. There was also a fair bit of machine noise during the day. Otherwise, the place has a lot of potential but has definitely seen better days and could use some TLC. We had no communication from our host beyond the message when I rented the space. There was a friendly, kind gentleman who showed us the site, but he wasn't management. Frankly, there didn't seem to be any management. We did not stay our second night, because of the roosters. If not for the noise, we would probably go back.

This is a decent place with over 400 reviews!
I didn't see one review or any notice by the host: they or their neighbors have some sort of shooting range!
It was not peaceful at all. The last 2 hours of day light was non stop shooting. Shot guns. Rifles. So much shooting. It's sad when you expect to relax, and instead you have to medicate your dog, like it's the 4th of July. It was not pleasant.

I love this camp site ! It’s nice and secluded and the homestead is a lot of fun for the kids and everyone.
The sites are large and the people who live onsite are kind and helpful. I go here several times a year and will always be back.

My camp site was very quiet. It was a great site to rest and recoup for a week so I can continue the rest of my journey. Alicia and CJ were very helpful and checked in on me. One purk is they now have a flush toilet which was advertised as compose toilet. 😁

We had a magnificent stay! We booked at the very last second because our previous reservation fell through suddenly - and it was a blessing in disguise!
This property is so big and full of adventures and projects to look at. Special shout-out to the fishing pond!! My friends and I barely know anything about fishing and we discovered a lifelong hobby!!!
The hosts were also incredibly kind & patient & generous with their time/care. From the moment we arrived it felt warm & comfortable.
Also the farm dogs are so so so so lovable. We actually miss them - Mo will play fetch for hours and bring you cool trinkets ❤️

Such a great time! Alicia was a great host. Her husband CJ was friendly from the start and answered our questions. Lovely campground area. Sites are far away enough to feel private but close enough if we needed anything. Bathroom is convenient. Quiet and peaceful, we didn’t mind the early rooster crow and it’s probably not heard unless you’re closer to the animals. We didn’t want to leave. Looking forward to next time! :)

Absolute perfection! Tremendous hospitality, gorgeous sites, quiet (besides the occasional rooster), it’s a secret paradise. My wife, my six-year-old, and myself camped for two nights, hiked up the beautiful stream, played with the dogs, gazed at the stars, and just took it easy. The people that live there are tremendous company, and we will certainly be back. Everything is clean and everyone was considerate and fun. Bathroom and kitchen worked great. Highest possible recommendation, but don’t tell anybody ha ha

Took the kids for their first away from home camping trip. Left momma home so she could have a little break, haha.
Everyone had a blast. The kids loved the creek and walking down to the swimming hole. They really enjoyed exploring the land too. Wear swim shoes as the clay gets very slick when wet!
Loved the outdoor shower, with my only complaint is that I wish it was a little tidier and cleaner. It is an outdoor shower though, so I get it! I really enjoyed the camping areas. They were very large and felt secluded.
It was a great experience and would definitely take the kids back again!

This place is AMAZING! My boyfriend took me and our daughter (we had never been camping before) here. And oh my goodness! The views are beautiful, the hosts are very nice, sincere, and helpful people. There's an amazing swim hole in the river. Their very sweet dog, Moe, was our tour guide down the river and played fetch the entire time. It was so sweet and fun. I cant recommend this place enough, and I honestly cant wait to go back!

This is our second trip with the Kids and it is the most wonderful time! Beautiful primative peaceful camping and a great community area if that's what moves you. Best of both worlds and don't miss the creek hike!!!

We love it here and will definitely be back. Sites are far enough apart and you have access to the creek. They have chickens, rabbits, turkeys, geese, and peacocks. There’s a small fishing pond too. We caught some perch (I think) on small hooks and hotdogs. There’s a trail to walk around on behind the pond and goes back to the campsites and brings you to the bunker and balcony. Dogs are allowed but need to be on a lead. They also have dogs that are friendly. Mocha will come visit the campsite and creek. She will have you throwing sticks in no time! Very pretty with all the fruit and vegetables growing! You can also order firewood with your reservation and they’ll bring it down. Everyone was very friendly and super accommodating! Randy was also very helpful and good company. Fair warning, the ants are terrible! There’s hardly an ant hill in sight but they were into everything, even in tubs! I just recommend storing food or snacks (dog food too) in your vehicle when you aren’t using it.
