Beautiful spot overall. Not as private as I presumed, but would recommend. Clif had plenty of free firewood stacked by the fire. Can’t beat it.

Really lovely property with many nice spots to set up camp. We chose a spot up by the lake, which was easy to drive our car to, and access to a portapotty. Clif was great and showed us around to all the different camping spots on his land.

We had a great visit at Clif’s campsite. He was very responsive and even helped us get our fire going. We even ended up exchanging stories for a few hours!
Campsite was in great shape and the porto potty was very clean. Overall we had a great stay and will be back.

I will stay here again if in the area and highly recommend. Beautiful property to camp at and Clif was a great host! Amazing sunset view over the lake with mountains in the background but he has plenty of options. Porta-potty is a plus. Clif communicated quickly before and during my stay and even gave me a fun little Jeep tour of his property with his sweet dog BlackBerry following along.

As usual! Another great weekend camping on cliffs, beautiful land. The days were a little warm, mid 80s but, the evenings and nights were very crisp and refreshing. Cliff had mowed most of the areas where you could pitch your tent or set up camp. The land is always lovely peaceful quiet. Can’t wait to get back there again. Porta potty was clean as usual. It was good to see blackberry, Clif’s dog come out as she usually does when campers first arrive. She is extremely friendly. She doesn’t bark or get in the way she just greets you with her tail constantly wagging! She will usually come around a couple of times while you were there, just to check in on you and make sure everything is going okay, Lol…She usually only stays for a few minutes and you might not see her for another half a day or so. Cliff is such a gracious host! He came out the first day just to check in and make sure I didn’t need anything. He even provided a fire ring full of wood. I spent most of my time just relaxing, fishing, “great fishing “ reading and doing nothing. I absolutely love this place. You will too! Thank you so much again !!!

I had a pretty good time at clif’s campground. It was very quiet there was nobody else there. The only kind of amenities there is just a porta potty which can be both a good or bad thing depending on what you’re looking for. I had two bars of Verizon service pretty much all over the campground.
This campground is right next to a big pond and also a cow farm so you kinda get to see both things
Even though the weather said, it would be really bad. The hill blocked a lot of the rain so the weather was pretty good the whole time.
The road to get to the campsite had a few branches down in it, but it was no problem getting there on my motorcycle

This was my third time coming to Cliff’s property and I have nothing but good things to say about him and his campsite. A super great host that always makes sure you enjoy your time here. There’s also a pretty good size lake there with tons of fish to catch.

This place is a real gem! The site had a flat spot for tent or car camping. It was very peaceful by the pond. The porta-potty was clean and didn't stink. Overall, I really enjoyed this spot.

It was a nice and cozy place to camp on the lake side, it was a quiet place with no disturbance.
Firewood was provided.
Clif was great, he even came around to say hello and checked if everything was alright.
Overall a great experience and would recommend anyone wanting to camp to try this place.

Clif has a very beautiful piece of land. It was a pleasure to camp here. He was very welcoming and friendly. Our young son enjoyed catching fish on worms in the pond and wandering around the property.

I really enjoyed tent camping at Cottaquilla Creek Campground !
The land and pond/lake was beautiful. When I got there, Clif was at work but, he text me and told me to call him as soon as I got to the property, so he could make sure every thing was to my satisfaction, and it was! He was extremely reachable and accommodating. He even came by after work as we agreed to when I called him upon my arrival. The lake is stocked with bass, bream and catfish, for catch and release ! I caught about 10 or so huge bream within 2 hours of fishing ! Although Clif said catch and release...about 4 of the fish just swallowed the hook, to the point that Clif said it was ok to go ahead and keep them to cook, rather than throwing them back and taking the risk of them not making it. I cooked and cleaned them right there at the camp site and they where delicious !! The lake is spring fed some the water was very clean. I would highly recommend camping here ! Be advised...You can hear some road noise in the distance but it was not bad at all to me. Thanks Clif !

A M A Z I N G place. It's so beautiful. Clif is a great host, and his pups are sweet as pie. This campground features even land for camping, a gorgeous stocked lake (my 11 year old caught catfish, bream, and bass!!!), a well-maintained walking trail along the property, and the cleanest porta-potty I've ever seen. Would stay here a million times over. Already looking forward to our next adventure here!

We only stayed for one night but definitely enjoyed all the scenery and space! As well as fishing from the pond/lake! Host is great and very responsive! Definitely recommend

We really enjoyed camping and fishing on Clif’s property. My son and I ended up catching close to 20 Bluegill, so it was a great day of fishing. The options for exploration were great, and though Clif wasn’t present when we were there, he was very responsive and helpful. We’ll definitely be coming back (hopefully when it’s not 97 degrees outside 😅)

Was a great place for our Westfahlia Camper after a ride on the Chief Ladiga Trail. Recommend following Sheldon Road address instead of Whites Gap. Level spot with view of lake and mts and a few fisherman. Restful night. And was nice to meet Clif who was super welcoming. Would definitely return.

Clif was very kind and welcoming upon arrival! It was my husband and I and our 2 dogs. There is a giant pond to fish and my dogs enjoyed their time swimming in it. 2 picnic tables near the fire pit so that’s where we set up the tent next to the pond. No problems with bugs what so ever. The scenery is beautiful with a view of a couple of mountains. Will definitely be coming back!

Clif is such a nice guy and the camp site was beautiful. Now my trip started rough but this was completely my fault. Went the wrong way and had my truck completely stuck in some mud, luckily the other campers were super helpful and dragged my idiot a** out. Clif also came to the rescue with a beautiful dog named blackberry. Every trip has it’s ups and downs but nonetheless I was very grateful that so many kind and generous people were around me. Thank you Clif and if your the guy with the jeep that towed me out thank you too! Lastly which I almost forgot to mention the original campsite was full of a group that seemed to be all together. Clif was kind enough to give me and my girlfriend a gorgeous spot close by that didn’t interfere with their trip while simultaneously giving us some nice seclusion. Overall very happy with the outcome of the trip

10/10 must go again! Clif was such a great homeowner but also an amazing person! He was so quick to help and even went out of his way to go gather me firewood and stakes so my tent wouldn’t blow away lol. The site was very well kept and spacious, definitely going to be back here soon once the fishing start biting! Thanks Clif!

We had a great night at Clif’s place! The campsite we had was along the lake and was beautiful. There was a picnic table, firepit and a clean port-a-pottie close to the camp spot. Very easy to navigate and Clif was quick to respond.
We were able to camp with our 2 dogs and they had a wonderful time. His 2 dogs came over and were sooo incredibly sweet we wanted to take them home. Wish we had more time to relax but we were short on time.
Would highly recommend to anyone and hope to return!
