Please join us at the land of Bohamia for glamping with luxury beds and private decks, primitive camping in picturesque sites, and RV spots with power and water. Bohamia has an upscale bathhouse with private, hot showers and individual toilet rooms with floor-to-ceiling doors. The bathhouse is within 100 yards of all glamps and RV sites. We also have portalets stationed in the RV/Safari Tent area, at The Barn, and at the pond (0.4 miles from welcome center.) Premium RV spots now available with 30 or 50 amp hookups and water. We do not have sewer hookups or a waste station. Glamp, RV or camp amidst the natural beauty of our 268 acre property; we have open fields, shady spots beneath the hardwoods and pines, and even a five acre pond with plenty of fish if you’d prefer to wake up to a water view or take a morning swim. With miles of trails on our property, easy access to the 392,000 acre Talladega National Forest, and less than ten miles from the Pinhoti trail, you’ll never run out of beautiful places to explore. Be sure to save some time to enjoy the boulder strewn creek just a short walk from our welcome center - it’s a must see! Other local attractions are also within reach with the Top Trails ATV park and the Talladega Marksmanship Park only seven miles away.

Perfect weekend getaway!
We thoroughly enough our time at Bohamia! We had a party of 2 and 1 dog, and will certainly we back! Our host was phenomenal and made us feel right at home, so cool you can buy stuff on the camp store and have it delivered to your site. Also the pond was spectacular! Perfect for swimming, fishing, and any kind of kayaking/canoeing/paddle boarding you’d want to do. It was clean, and the pond is spring fed so it doesn’t get too warm. The hiking is also very nice! Nice moderate hikes around the property and you can hike to a lake and waterfall. Camping on pond offer options for privacy as well as more open group setting if camping with other parties, also options for Rv and glamping- basically something for everyone if your needing a place that can accommodate all kinds of campers. I would highly recommend Bohamia!

Very secluded and peaceful spot. Bath house was super clean. QR code store ordering and delivery was awesome. I'll stay here again.

I can’t say enough about how much I love this place. The trails, the scenery, the amenities, it’s all great. Not too far south of Birmingham, and with local stores in easy driving distance. It’s the perfect spot for a quiet weekend in nature.

Wonderful stay! ☀️
Site 5 was quiet and perfect for our weekend needs. Grounds are beautiful, well maintained, and we enjoyed an afternoon swimming in the pond. Leigh is a kind, and accommodating host. We hope to be back!
