Tent Platform in the Woods

Even the road to the property is picturesque. The hosts are AMAZING folks who I can’t wait to see again. They definitely KNOW Paducah well and are a great source of information. The platform is a short walk from your car and outhouse, but totally doable. There’s a small footpath to the platform and I’d say the walk is maybe 20 yards or so. The tree canopy provides great shade and protection from the elements. The outhouses were super clean; no, really, the cleanest outhouses I have ever seen in my entire life… for the first time ever I didn’t dread using an outhouse. My host showed me around the grounds a bit and also showed me some of their additional accommodations at my request. I spent a day exploring the property and taking nature photos. (This would be an amazing place for family photos, senior pics, or engagement photos; however I would rent one of the cabins or the tack room for that if it were me.) Sunrises from the “back 40” as I called it were astronomical. (This is the field behind the pool area to the right of the barns where the ground lies fairly flat).
