We had a great time camping at Aaron’s! This was our kids first time camping and it was a perfect site for it! We were able to get our kayaks in the water at site 2, but he let us know that we could use site 1 for camping (it had more shade in the evening) and just go between the two sites. That worked out well for us. The firewood was more than enough and the site was secluded, clean, and well maintained.
The lake was beautiful, and there is a nice cove to kayak through without going into the main part of the lake.
Thanks for a great experience!

nice place, private. basic. no frills, just nature and corn field. perfect.
i loved it! the spot was nice, perfect to put a tent down. we stayed in site one but loved the view of the lake. it was 30 minutes from mammoth cave and did not feel like a difficult drive. the access to the lake is not the easiest to use, so we decided not to swim, but it was still beautiful.
you can hear road noises, turkey and some other animals and bugs at night but that did not bother me. it gets super dark, which was cool. be careful if you arrive after sunset!
watch out for ticks!

Aaron was super helpful and accommodating during some inclement weather. It’s an awesome spot with some local history. It’s very secluded too.

Wonderful site! Host was communicative, had the site well prepared, and respected privacy. Site was very private with crop field on one side and woods on the other and a view of a lake theough the trees. Highly recommended

Stayed at Campsite #1 and had a great time. Aaron was friendly and had the site stocked with firewood upon our arrival.
Overall my family had a great experience here and enjoyed Mammoth Caves NP near by.
Nice secluded spot
