Newton's Nook

I hammock camped in the woods by the pond. The night sky was beautiful. The spot was pretty quiet at night, a couple of times the area dogs would bark at each other or whatever was about, but it ended pretty quickly. In the morning there are roosters in the area speaking their minds, but I fell back asleep pretty quick. I had good phone reception with t-mobile there.

It's a nice, simple camp.

Beautiful propert private and great host

The property was open and tranquil. We enjoyed the fire pit and picnic bench that was provided. Great location near the bourbon trail. Dustin (the host) was responsive and accommodated well to anything we needed. We will definitely be back again!

We discovered this gem, after a last minute Memorial Day weekend camping trip, and we were pleasantly surprised at what Newton’s Nook had to offer. Dustin greeted us upon arrival, which he was very pleasant, helpful, and kind. His property has large campsites right around the pond, which is ideal for the avid fisherman. My partner and I caught several bass and large bluegill during our stay, which we released back into the pond. The property is very well groomed, clean, and has beautiful views of the sunrises and sunsets (lots of field, with little to no shade). Loved the fire pit, but would recommend bringing a cooking grate. Would highly recommend Newton’s Nook!!

Everything was great!! Dustin was a really nice guy. Made sure everything was ok land was clean and in a nice area was peaceful I’ll definitely come back it was my first motorcycle camping trip and I couldn’t be any happier that I chose his place to camp awesome awesome awesome He also has eggs and he will bring them to ya in a small cooler bag if u don’t have a cooler. The host was very helpful and got us to the site. The site itself was beautiful and had lots of frogs and minnows to watch.

Perfect spot for a one nighter. We really enjoyed the peaceful pond sights and sounds. Fireflies everywhere, frogs, birds, fish flopping in the pond. Dustin has it all set up for campers. Nice fire ring in the grass. Fresh water was a plus. But the bonus we got lucky enough to enjoy was a perfect view of the blood moon lunar eclipse. Amazing!

Dustin’s place was awesome I took my son and dog and we had an awesome campfire. We even caught about 10 bass in the lake our days were made. Definitely want to come back.

We needed a quick place to stay for the night near Louisville and this place was perfect! Very quiet and peaceful definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a nice get away.
