Perfect spot for a one nighter. We really enjoyed the peaceful pond sights and sounds. Fireflies everywhere, frogs, birds, fish flopping in the pond. Dustin has it all set up for campers. Nice fire ring in the grass. Fresh water was a plus. But the bonus we got lucky enough to enjoy was a perfect view of the blood moon lunar eclipse. Amazing!
Dustin’s place was awesome I took my son and dog and we had an awesome campfire. We even caught about 10 bass in the lake our days were made. Definitely want to come back.
We needed a quick place to stay for the night near Louisville and this place was perfect! Very quiet and peaceful definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a nice get away.
Love the little pond. Was pleasantly surprised by how secluded it was. Loved the roosters in the morning
We camped here overnight in a campervan after some heavy rain. The ground was softer than we expected and the van got stuck. Dustin is an awesome host and came and pulled us out of the mud with his truck. The property itself was quite pretty and super quiet. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful but not peaceful!
Let me first say that there is certainly nothing wrong with this campsite and the host, Dustin, is superb and very helpful. The campsites seem idyllic and I was looking forward to testing out some new equipment for cold weather camping. Again, the campsite was great but…it was far from peaceful. We camped right by the pond which is just a few feet from the gravel road to get to the campsites. We were disturbed at least 3 times by someone either driving in or driving out late at night and early in the morning. After we went to bed, we were treated with the sound of loud country music playing from a neighbor’s property for almost an hour. When that noise subsided, we go to listen to dogs barking all night and coyotes howling and the dogs barking in response. From about 4AM until sunrise we were awoken by a rooster crowing for 3 hours straight and continuing even after sunrise. I slept less than 3 hours and was exhausted most of the next day. I cannot recommend this site even though the host has limited control over the noise. Deep sleepers might have no problems but light sleepers will likely not have a pleasant experience. I was grateful to be back in the city so I can get a good night’s sleep. I’ve been a lifelong tent camper and sometimes you get noisy campsites but this one just was not for me. I should have brought earplugs so that is on me.
