You'll be camping at the old Lock 12 on the Kentucky River in Irvine, KY...where the Bluegrass Kisses the Mountains! Our camp sites range from 25'x40' to 30'x80' and 100'x100' for groups. You can go Kayaking or Tubing or Swim from the sandy shore on the Kentucky River. "Tube rentals will be available in 2023". Irvine is the home of the Mountain Mushroom Festival and the Ravenna Railroad Festival at the foot hills of the Daniel Boone National Forest. Next door is a 9 hole gulf course.  The Kentucky Steam Heritage is about 1 mile away.  It is twenty minutes to the Lily Mountain Nature Preserve, 1 &1/2 hours to the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, KY. The Fitchburg Furnace Historical Site is about 15 minutes. Its a 40 minute drive to the Red River Gorge.  If your interested in hiking, the Indian Fort Mountain Hiking Trail and the Pinnacle Trails are in Berea, KY which is about 40 minutes.  Berea is also known for its Craft and Spoonbread festivals as well.

Lovely location, stunning evenings, attentive hosts. I will be very pleased to come back with my canoe. They have canoe steps and slides on both sides of the locks!
