Hidden Valley River Camp
Overall the view was nice but if you are wanting secluded, solitude, and unbothered this campsite is not for you. The hosts were nice but the campsite is part of their yard which they utilized on the weekend we were there. A bunch of people came to their bonfire while we were trying to have ours. The owners will check on you several times throughout the stay. There was no sense of privacy. This made us feel uncomfortable and would not recommend if you are looking for something more primitive.

Hidden Valley River Camp
Peaceful riverside spot.
This is a beautiful site to camp and I will definitely come back. The land is level and easy to set up on. Each site has a fire pit and wood is available for purchase from the host. Scott and his dog Sam were our hosts for the 2 nights we camped and was super nice. Scott kept the huge fire circle by the pavilion going. I picked the river site next to the trees. It was very peaceful watching the barges go by. The porta-pot was a nice addition and was clean and lighted at night with a hand washing station provided.

Unbelievable view of the Ohio. Super clean site. Cleanest portable toilet I have ever used in my entire life. Host was super great and helpful. Helped us pull down our canopy when the wind was determined to blow it away. Having Sam around was an added bonus.

this hidden gem is exactly as described and a rare truly rivers edge site. Bring your fishing rod as the river is teaming with life. Sites are well spaced and the host is generous with information (shared around a campfire). Will definitely return again as I'm passing thru north central KY.
