Welcome! I want to let you know- the day of your booking I will reach out and check in on your eta. Anyone coming for the first time, we always meet and greet you at the gate and escort you to your spot. I do ask that you try to come as close to check in time as possible (2pm). i understand that people work and may be a little later- that is ok just please communicate with me- if you tell me you will be here at 4:30 I am sitting and waiting for you- if you will be late I ask for communication so Im not sitting for several hours waiting on my campers. Please be courteous of my time, communication goes a long way.
Pitch your tent back by our hidden 16-acre lake, the hidden ponds or hike in to a spot away from everything. We have close to 216 acres. We run a small 50-acre farm on the front and have left the back for camping, fishing, hiking and hunting. You may swim in the lake, take a canoe ride around or simply sit back around the fire and enjoy the view. Please take a look at sites, as each are different and offer different experiences. If you are interested in holding a family reunion, work picnic camp or just want the lake to yourself-please contact me and we will work it out.
If you have any questions about the spots, please let me know. Also if spots are booked, contact me- we may be able to create a spot just for you and what you need. We have room to grow but are doing it slowly. fifth wheel campers and trailers can be accommodated (without hook ups) at certain spots, generators allowed just let us know.
Boats are first come first serve.
Site 1 "Dock spot"- good for any kind of vehicle and pop up campers- right at dock so you may see more traffic of people if you are not the only campers.
Site 2 "Hill spot"- Good for any kind of vehicle and pop up campers. Close to dock but away enough that kids and dogs wont bother site 1. Not much shade, up on a hill with the best view.
Site 3 "Lower dam spot"- Great spot away from everyone but still right on the lake. Almost any vehicle can make it back there. More secluded. Not suggested for pop up campers. We have had a vw van camper make it back there. This site is smaller and not suggested for bigger groups. One or two vehicles and a couple of tents.
Site 4- My medium sized pond site. Secluded but still close enough to walk to the big lake.
Site 5 "Tree spot"- . Nice secluded spot in the woods, access to the big lake. Very cool spot in hot weather. One of the best spots- two fire pits, two areas by the water- great for larger groups or families.
Site 6 "Seclusion Spot"- this spot is away from the big lake but within walking distance. You have your own pond so you may not even want to walk to the big lake. 4 wheel drive/all wheel drive suggested- this is off road but will support pop up campers, tents, van campers. This site will hold several tents, cars etc. this site has 3 fire pits in the area-great for larger groups. Working on graveling the road to it.
Site7 "welcome view spot"- on top of a hill, perfect for pop up campers, trailers, tents whatever. I call it the welcome spot because it is the first spot seen when people are escorted back there. I will be waving at you every time I take the main road back. A really great view, not much shade right there so great for pull behind campers, if not shade tents or canopies suggested.
Site 8 "Apple tree spot"- I created this spot for me- its my go to spot. Nice flat area, apple tree right in the center. It is right off the road so rain does not matter- it is close to the lake and outhouse. Great for trailers, pop up campers or tents.

Gorgeous property, lots of diversity in the space. Each campsite is unique, and we felt secluded even though there were others camping at other sites.
What a beautiful place to stay, would highly recommend, the host is extremely nice, very quiet and family friendly with plenty of outdoors to just relax!!

We loved tent camping on Lori’s land! She was so gracious and attentive to us. The lake has paddle boats and is way bigger than you would expect it to be. Camp sites are decently far apart.
My personal favorite part was all of the animals at the entrance.
We felt incredibly safe with the property only having one entrance.
Thank you for a fantastic weekend! We hope we get the chance to come back again.
Absolutely amazing place to camp! Lake and farm is very picturesque. Amenities like paddle boats were a huge plus. Lori was great and very welcoming. This is going to the top of our list for car camping/tent sites. We'll be back and thanks again!
This place is a hidden gem! I can’t believe it’s just 25 mins from my house in Lexington. Beautiful landscape and animals. I hope to go back soon!

I’m so happy y’all found us. Neighbors of sorts ;-) I’m happy we found just the right site for you and your friends. Hope to see you again sometime.
We stayed in April and had the place to ourselves. Amazing property and extremely helpful host. Was able to walk the property see livestock and take a paddleboat ride. Would highly recommend!!

Thank you for visiting. I’m glad you enjoyed and in the April showers season.
