Come stay on our 22 acre Bluegrass Farm with open fields, a spring-fed creek, wooded hiking trails and campsites with fire rings. Experience the privacy, peace, and beauty of country camping, with the conveniences of the nearby city.  We have primitive camping in the woods or open fields.

The Grove site has a fire ring, is shaded, by the creek and has plenty of trees for hammocks.  You can park by your car at this site.  We don't typically allow campers at this site especially if they have a dog because while it is secluded, it is the closest site to our neighbors and we want to ensure everyone's privacy.

The Back Barn site is by the back barn.  You park about 100 paces from your campsite. There is a fire ring and it is partially shaded.

Creek Peek site is so serene.  You park about 50 paces from your campsite. It is shaded, by the creek, has a fire ring, and some trees perfect for a hammock.

If you are interested in RV camping (electric and/or water hookup) on our property, please search Hipcamp for "Farm and Forest Charm near city (RV)" and request to book on that site.

Great place to stay for a night on the way through Lexington. Jennifer was very helpful and accommodating, and I enjoyed a lovely pastoral sunset after a long day.

Beautiful and secluded place to camp. You won’t be able to park right at your tent site… short hike tho. You will hear traffic in the distance but it’s not annoying.. extremely nice people and very accommodating if there’s an issue. I would definitely camp here again !

Jennifer and Tyler were gracious hosts. Their campsites are very private with a good mix of sun and shade (the small foot path reminds me of the Narnia books, you know you are about to discover something special) I especially like their dog "Brother", who after just one good belly scratch, will be your friend for life. If you need a place near Lexington Kentucky, I recommend you pay them a visit.

I loved camping on Jennifer’s land…she greeted us, even though we came in just before dark. We had A very private spot and woke to a beautiful sunrise and birds singing. We only stopped on our way through to South Carolina, but it was hard to leave.

This was the perfect short getaway from home. Still in Lexington, but doesn’t have a city feel whatsoever. Beautiful scenery, quiet, private, exactly what our family needed :) Host was super friendly and helpful, we will be coming back.

This place was perfect for us. Our favorite part had to be their two awesome dogs. They were super friendly and Brother hung out with us the entire two days. Having a bathroom with a shower was definitely a plus. Firewood was available with a really nice large fire pit. The land is beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. Would definitely recommend.

Glad you had a good stay. Sorry we had a hectic couple days and didn't get to meet you. I think Brother's favorite part of being a farm dog is getting loving from our campers :).
