Just returned from a guys camping trip to the RC Estate. The property was beautiful and Lea was a gracious host. Loved the prairie trials, open field for playing games, rocky creek and our visit from the friendly farm dog “Niko”. The farm fresh eggs and sausage were a huge plus. Would love to come again with my wife and kids.

Lea was very friendly and very accomadating. It was a perfect secluded getaway for me and my wife. The dogs have a lot personality. I look forward to next time I am able to get away.

Anyone looking to camp near the Kansas City area should consider RS Estate. We were met with a gracious host who delivered the firewood and farm fresh eggs (both must-dos in my opinion). Our group was the only one there, so we had our choice of any number of cozy and private spots. We spent our time relaxing, exploring the property, and connecting with nature. We would return without a doubt.
This was a great getaway from the city. Close enough to the highway to be easily accessible, but far enough to feel like the middle of nowhere.
Lea was a gracious host. She was very quick to respond and accomodate our needs.
Although there are multiple campsites, the property is very large and they are spread out. There were numerous groomed paths connecting the sites and landscapes.
Would definitely recommend.
Beautiful site / few complications
My husband, and preschool daughter stayed at this site for a one-night visit. The grounds are beautiful and secluded. We enjoyed our visit and appreciated host's assistance getting our gear to and from the site with her four-wheeler and cart. I would suggest the host properly dry out firewood before selling it to guests. We had a hard time lighting it and the host confirmed that some of it was wet. A big part of the trip, particularly for my daughter, was roasting marshmallows and we weren't able to do much of that despite great effort. The eggs the host sold us were gorgeous. Unfortunately it began to rain just as prepared to cook them so we had to throw them out. The host has friendly dogs which we enjoyed although one of them stayed near our site during the night and barked intermittently which may disturb light sleepers like myself.
