What a beautiful place to camp. We stayed for one night with our teardrop trailer and it was gorgeous. The best part is that we could let our two elderly doggies roam free. This was their favorite camping spot thus far!! We ordered a loaf of zucchini bread which was so scrumptious! I highly recommend you stop by and spend the night! The owners are wonderful!

This place is beautiful! I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area. We had a friendly donkey hang out with us that night and the next morning! We especially loved that there was no one else close by like we were there the only ones there.

We stayed at the site called Wanda’s Place! It was beautiful with the cliffs creating a gorgeous backdrop! Our site was private, quiet and bug free despite backing up to the waters bank! We really enjoyed the hamburger basket along with Cynthia’s potatoes and blueberry zucchini bread! We visited the horses and donkey, and hung out with the owner’s dog Abby! She was so sweet! We stayed at the site called Wanda’s Place and it was beautiful with the cliffs creating a wonderful backdrop!! Our site was private, quiet and bug free despite the river bank being right there! The hamburger basket, Cynthia’s potatoes and the blueberry zucchini bread were delicious! Got to visit with the horses, the donkey and Abby, the happy, protective dog who hung out with us! 10 - Wanda's Place
Never met Cynthia. We followed Chadto our site which was really private and we loved. After reading all the reviews we decided to stay at campsite number 10 Wanda‘s place. Upon arrival there was no wood and all the other reviews said that there was wood cut and left near the firing for them upon arrival. When Chad dropped us off, he said I’m gonna go get you some wood,. We set up camp and went for a nice walk and when we got back, there was still no wood, it was already kind of late in the day when we got there. after an hour or an hour and a half (I cannot remember) of not receiving Wood I sent a message letting them know that we were still waiting on the Wood and within 30 minutes Chad brought it down. however we only got to burn a little bit because as soon as it got dark, we heard coyotes and decided to put everything out and go in the camper. I would’ve loved to have sat there for a few hours while we ate and hung out, but did not get the chance due to the Wood not being there when we arrived.we were on a very tight schedule to get the Colorado for our grandson’s fourth birthday party so we did not have a lot of time. We went on a nice walk, took pictures of our dog with the horses was visited by the donkey the next morning,. enjoyed the peaceful night sleep

I loved the beautiful and calm setting. Just what I needed after a long drive. Directions were perfect. Chad met me near the house and I followed him to the site. It was clean and orderly. I was happy to be able to take my dog for a walk off leash.

The care and accomodations made by the hosts prior to and during our visit were exceptional. Our camping site as well as the landscapes are serenely expansive and full of solitude. We would highly recommend taking the ranch tour. The history of many civilizations on the land was very interesting. Our whole experience was restorative and we will camp at with C2T again. A++

My wife and I spent 2 nights glamping at the ranch and we enjoyed the heck out of it. The yurt was set up with solar power and a heater and was clean. The campground was also clean. The river is close and super clear, about 20ft wide and 3ft deep. The mountain is just beyond that we had a great time climbing to the top of it, the view from there is fantastic. The best part of the trip was the food! We got the burgers and brats they really do provide all the fixings and it came with some tators and they bring it out to you. The first bite we knew it was REAL, so much better then store bought! We made two meals out of it. The superstar was the cinnamon rolls....out of this world! Suck it yoder lol. We bought another to take home. The host where great, very quick to respond to our needs and seem like nice people. We will absolutely be going back.

Excellent management of a beautiful property. Quick responses from Chad and Cynthia, clean, beautiful campsite and an extraordinarily unique area of Kansas the owners have so graciously made available for camping. My wife and I tent camped at South Beach Campsite and loved it! It was our second time back and won't be our last!

This is a peaceful oasis. I came at the end of April and the tent next to me was empty so it felt private.

We loved that the camp sites are spread out giving a very private feel with easy river access. We also loved the history associated with the property. Chad and Cynthia were incredible hosts and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back.

It was great having lots of space around us. However, after lightning all around us on Wednesday night, we felt very vulnerable and concerned. We were not aware of any available storm shelter we could have used -- and our RV is not a safe place. The lack of cell signal would have made it difficult to get help quickly in case of an emergency -- especially during a storm.

We spent 4 nights at 10 Wanda's Place and really could have stayed for 4 more! We really loved everything about this spot. Chad and Cynthia were very accommodating and repulsive to every message I sent. We did opt for the tour of his property by UTV and we are glad we did! I would highly recommend that everyone take a tour to fully appreciate the property! We enjoyed daily visits from the horses, their Lab, and the donkey!

C2T is a nice and quiet campground away from it all! The sites are spread out and it feels like you are the only one in the campground. Great place to explore along the Saline River. The campground is well kept and you can see that they are improving the campsites by adding more electric.

This place was great! Everything from the river, to climbing cliffs, searching for rocks and seeing the horses. This is a fantastic place to camp. It was also an added bonus having outhouses and trash bins.

We loved our stay on the ranch and in the tent, owners were very friendly and helpful, the country tent was so cosy and clean. The property was beautiful to explore, would recommend staying for a few days to explore the property!!

This place is one-of-a-kind gorgeous! Chad and Cynthia are gracious hosts who take pride in their Kansas oasis. The place has curious geological formations not common in this area, with a high, limestone ridge, overlook bluffs, and incredible vistas. We took the side by side tour of the whole property and Chad went above and beyond telling us the history of the Saline River valley. Wow. We followed that up with a burger basket they delivered to our campsite with all the fixins and a big portion of Cynthia’s potatoes. It was such a nice treat, and delicious! We will definitely be back. If you are looking for an incredible spot off the beaten path, no not miss the C2T Ranch.

Chad and Cynthia’s land is so beautiful! They truly have a special place. There is a peaceful vibe when you walk around and the spacing of the sites is really appreciated. It was great to let our puppy Bo off leash, he had such a blast exploring and meeting their dog and their donkey. We ordered
our dinner from them, amazing burgers (their own)
complete with rolls and condiments, along with the best potatoes, all delivered to our site from Cynthia. We also ordered the delicious cinnamon buns which we enjoyed the next day, and are still enjoying! We have been traveling across the country for 5 weeks now and this is our favorite stay! They truly are great hosts!

A fantastic campground! I’ve been multiple times now and it is my go-to if I’m traveling I-70. The complete silence and sky filled with stars makes this place magical for me. The towering limestone bluffs to the east, just across the river, make for a beautiful view. The fire pits are proper pits made with the proper -sized blocks of limestone. The firewood is well-seasoned and Chad leaves an ample amount. The campsites are far apart and private. The camping area is mowed and clean. The sites have such level spots, I’ve never had to unhook my teardrop camper. If you’re lucky, they’ll be water in the Salida River flowing just yards from your campsite. And for the special touch, you might get a visit from the campground’s gentle Labrador, Abby. 🐕❤️
