In the days we live in now, the hype does not live up to expectations. NOT IN THIS CASE!! Maria and Kent were fabulous! The land they have set up is peaceful and picturesque. Our original plans were to visit Amana Colonies but we did not leave the property! The fishing was the best ever! Big Bass and Big Catfish! No fish tales here. The Bass and Catfish so big they pulled us around the pond in the canoe! We will definitely will be back!
Amazing time! We would love to come back for more than one night.
It was an amazing sight with awesome amenities. The hosts were super nice and generous and made sure we knew where everything was. We had lots of fun and are definitely coming back.

The best camping experience. What a wonderful host and property. Everything was provided ,but food and sleeping bags.
This was an idyllic gem. Everything is laid out to provide a lovely experience- kayaks, swimming, fishing nets. The tipi was wonderful, watching the fire light flicker across the tipi walls as we talked before bed. We loved it all!
Absolutely loved this place. The tipi is great but it's much more than that. The large farm pond (with kayaks provided by host), campfire facilities, feed the fish, and the trails around the natural prairie land give you the feeling of what this land might have been like a couple hundred years ago. Hosts are great and go out of their way to provide what you need. I went alone, but would also highly recommend for a couple getting away or a family wanting to be in nature.

A unique and fun family experience. We appreciate Maria, she is a helpful host.
We just came for the day. Fishing was great. Maria gave us excellent directions to the location. We will be back.
It was absolutely stunning and beautifu. A perfect piece of land away from civilization for a couple of days. Tipi was very roomy slept six of us comfortably and the pond that is so well taken care of was amazing to fish and swim in. The trails around the ground were really cool as well I would recommend this to everyone and look forward to possibly doing an annual trip out here for a weekend. The hosts were very genuine people and great people. All around awesome experience
