This was a great campsite for my overnight stay. Darlene greeted me when I arrived and showed me to a really nice spot. She recommended I eat at Ruby's Pub and Grill which did not disappoint. While you're in the little town of Stuart, don't miss the opportunity to see a bank that Bonnie and Clyde robbed in 1934!

I had an amazing stay here. I arrived late and Darlene still showed me to my campsite and made sure I felt right at home. The property is gorgeous and serene, it was exactly what I was looking for. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area again!
Darlene was awesome, I got in late and she let me pick a site and brought me firewood. Heard lots of wildlife throughout the night which was pretty cool, it was a nice backdrop. Would definitely stay again.

Glad you enjoyed your stay with us and thanks for the great review, hope you get the opportunity to stay with us again
I enjoyed at excellent night at Darlene's place. The host was extremely accommodating and let me have my pick of spots, due to an incoming thunderstorm. I was treated to a chorus of frog calls and field of fireflies, when the thunder let up. This spot is very convenient if you are traveling cross country along I-80, and need a safe and pretty place to pitch camp.
Darlene met me at the entrance to her beautiful property and showed me to my site. She welcomed me to hike and explore and was very friendly and helpful. I took a nice hike on the hilly meandering trails. I saw some bunnies, a red squirrel(?) and lots of pretty songbirds. On my way out the next morning, I saw four deer on the dirt\gravel road. The road is in great shape. My little Hyundai Veloster handled it all just fine. So don't let that deter you. Best sleep I had in 3 nights. Absolute quiet aside from wind and birds.

Hope I'm so glad you enjoyed our place and had a restful night. If your ever back this way stop by it looks all different depending on the season. Thanks again.
Really nice spot. Easy to get to but quiet with a lot of amenities. I was just stopping overnight on a road trip but took a couple nice walks and my pup enjoyed the little pond. Hope to stay again some time!

So glad you enjoyed our place and thanks so much for the nice review, hope we get the chance to host you again. Haunted Trail is coming along LOL
Simple but excellent accommodations. Darlene was great at communicating, at met me at the driveway to show me to my site. I was able to set up my tent close to a porta potty, which was handy at night (but far enough away to not feel like it was gross). The property was beautiful in the morning with a light fog. Lots of coyote activity during the night!
