Me and my girlfriend had a perfect little getaway at Anna's campsite, we were on top of the hill and had a beautiful view with a nice little private area. The weather conveniently was perfect and the nearby lake was easily accesible. Thanks so much!
We came back for more!
This location worked out perfect for us as we were traveling from Ohio to the Black hills. We loved it so much the first time that we decided to stop by again on the way back. I wish we were traveling in warmer months but the site is still amazing regardless. I would definitely recommend this place.
This place has such an amazing view! Our site had a stone built fire-ring, tripod for cooking, and a wooden table. There's lighting powered by solar. The host was very nice and friendly. I'm strongly considering to make a stop there on our way back!
Anna’s acreage was lovely! We winter tent camped on a Friday and Saturday night, and despite the chilly weather we still had a great time.
Despite there being snow on the ground, we were able to hike the property and explore the ponds and woods. We also heard a variety of wildlife, including turkeys, owls, and coyotes in the distance. Also got to see a lovely sunset.
We camped in site 1, which is probably the most accessible in the snow. However, without snow, all 4 would be accessible. If we were to go back without snow, we would probably check out Site 4 (in the woods) and Site 3 (on a little hill above the other sites).
Each of the sites had a campfire ring and a “tripod” stand to cook over the campfire. It looked like firewood could be provided if needed. Site 3 had a picnic table. The sites also were well marked and had solar lights to identify each one. There was a porta potty near site 4 with a pan of wood chips underneath, however, you may need to respect your fellow campers and empty the pan when needed.
Anna (our host) was super responsive via text and email and made our stay really enjoyable!
Would definitely come back again!!!!

Peaceful private stay! Anna was very responsive, I loved the locked gate; I felt very safe.
