Most of our 10 acres are wooded, so most campers prefer to pitch a tent on the edge of the woods then walk down the hillside for hiking, exploring and wildlife watching. Biking on country roads nearby or on the wooded trails is highly recommended. There is private access to the Wildcat Creek for canoeing, fishing and splashing in one of the many swimming holes.

Andrew is an excellent host and really made us feel at home. The camp site is among the trees in his backyard. There is a fire pit, hammock, camp chairs, lots of hiking trails, and a slack line. I enjoyed all of the outdoor activity options. His home is about 100 yards away from the campsite. The bathroom and wifi are available in his home. This was a little unexpected, but a wonderful surprise as well. The flush toilet was appreciated the internet was fast when we were close to the house.

Andrew was a super welcoming host. He gave us the tour when we arrived along with a beer from one of the local brewers. It was the perfect intro to our evening. All of this was here when we got here. Great amenities available for us to use!One of the campsites available close to the house. We loved the tree coverage. So pretty!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Wild Things Farm and plan to return again with our 2 girls (under 10) and our dog. The property was welcoming, our site was private and within view of the house; if someone wants to get more privacy there are places to tent camp among the 10 acres and many trails around the property. The host family shared fresh eggs with us and gave us tours of the trails and property. A Volcano portable fire pit and a stocked wood fire pit were both available to us, along with water from a hose and an outdoor shower if needed after long trail explorations.

Vanlife can be hard in Indiana, but not at Wild Things Farm!Steep and amazing trails just off the campsite.Fresh eggs for breakfast!Cooking dinner at the campsite.

My kids already want to go back!

We had a great time camping at Wild Things Farm and our only complaint is that we were only available to stay one night. Andrew, the owner, is an outdoor enthusiast who wants to create a camping destination that is similar to the BLM lands that he experienced during a trip west with his family. I would say that he succeeded.
