Brian was very accommodating to my late arrival time and was sure to have my site prepared since he could not meet me there. The land is beautiful and well kept and each spot is clearly indicated where your campsite is for no confusion. It is obvious that alot of upkeep and maintenance goes into the sites. Highly recommend.

Brian was great! Stopped by several times to check on us. We stayed at site 12 and we were surrounded by woods. It had great privacy, and the bid sounds were amazing. The site drained really well after a heavy thunderstorm and had no water pooling. Our 10 x 14 tent, 10 x 10 shade canopy and double shower tent fit well on the site, but it probably would only hold one additional large tent. Be advised that although the property is beautiful, it could be difficult to get a low clearance vehicle in and out if it rained too much. A quick email to Brian to check if your vehicle will make it wouldn't hurt. For reference we drive a Honda Civic and did ok driving slow and careful. Water is available from a spigot near the entrance, but it is typical hard well water, so make sure to bring drinking water. Overall, our trip was a 10 out of 10. We will be returning here again.
Brian was graciously waiting for us on a rainy day to lead us to our campsite. He had covered our firewood. Site was lovely, mowed, fire ring, table and benches. Tent placement great options. Nice trails to walk: woodpeckers, cardinals, Goldfinch, owls, doves and more. Best night's sleep even with the train in the distance. Highly recommend and we will stay again.

I had an absolutely wonderful night on Brian's property. I have been wanting to go hammock camping for a while now and after seeing all of his positive reviews I decided to go with Walnut Valley. Brian was incredibly helpful and kind, and he was super responsive. This was the first time I have gone camping on my own and he made it a great experience. I was hoping to get some hiking in and Brian kindly supplied a map of his trails. The trail I ventured out on was well marked and maintained great. Brian met me when I arrived and escorted me to my campsite and even had a welcome sign for me! I stayed at site 7 and he directed me towards which trees may be best for hanging my hammock from. After some other helpful instructions Brian was on his way but assured me if I needed anything to just reach out. I enjoyed my time and will be coming back.

Brian's land was beautiful and he let's you explore it at your leisure both by car or on foot. The electric sites were nice and spacious, with plenty of room between sites. The primitive sites are amazing! Tucked back on the property with plenty of privacy. We enjoyed waking up to the sound of all the birds and watching the hawks flying over head. Host was very easy to communicate with. Already planning a return trip.
We really enjoyed our stay at Walnut Valley Realm. The host sent a trail map ahead of time that was easy to follow. The trails themselves were so beautiful and secluded. The electric sites are close to a somewhat well-traveled road, so if you don’t need power I would recommend the more secluded spots. I would stay here again!
The host Brian was great! He was very welcoming and helpful. It was a good experience for us as first time campers. I look forward to doing it again. We had site 12 which was a good little hideaway. My only critique would be that each site should be more prominently marked. Other than that, I would definitely do it again.
