We are only 11 miles to Madison. Enjoy the day down town and come back to the great outdoors. Great place to stay while visiting one of the many festivals that Madison hosts. Come Hike splash around and camp at a remote area that you feel like is your part of the world. We will help in any capacity that we can. We may even get the 1956 tractor out for a hay ride.

A beautiful, private piece of land to unplug and relax. Did a little hiking and exploring along the water. Ron and family are wonderful hosts that kept us stocked on firewood and brought down 5 gallons of fresh water. They fully respected our privacy but it was nice to know they were there if needed. We had a lovely long weekend and will be back for sure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
What an amazing property for anyone looking to unplug and unwind. There is plenty of room to find the perfect tent site - whether on the grassy field or back in the trees. A picnic table, extra chairs, charcoal grill and firepit were provided. Indian-Kentuck Creek, which runs through the property is a hidden gem - beautiful, clean and clear, with a healthy fishery. We caught (and released) enough panfish, smallmouth, and largemouth to keep the kids excited throughout our stay.
Ronald was an excellent host. He responded to pre-trip messages and made sure we were perfectly squared away. He gave us spot-on tips about trails, fishing holes, and the property.
Overall, this property is the perfect destination for anyone looking to escape cell phones and emails, and to simply pitch their tent and relax.
