Lochloosa River Retreat Creek Side

We loved camping next to the creek with the view of the river! Great property with excellent amenities for camping with kids, just 15 minutes from downtown Culver. Nicole and Jack are excellent hosts! Look forward to our next stay there.

I loved listening to the creek as out back ground music. I've never been anywhere this quiet in my life. The nature sounds were all you could hear. We rented 2 sites next to each other 2 and 3. There were 4 of us ( all adults) Only site 5 had people on it. So we basically had the space of sites 1 2 3 and 4. So it was very private. It was a very peaceful time. Didn't have time to use the pool but am looking forward to doing that soon. I definitly see a big family camp outing in the future. Hosts were very friendly and very accommodating. We rented the kayaks and they drove us and helped with arranging everything. They came and asked us if we needed firewood just at the right time. Saved us a trip from having to go up to the house. The bathrooms were spacious and clean and hot water was great. Highly recommend. If you want more privacy or have a larger group reserving 1 through 3 is what I recommend. Next time I would love to reserve the site next to the river that is in the process

Had a wonderful time at the campsite. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and very friendly and went over and above in making sure our trip was enjoyable! Kayaking was great and the river was not crowded. The site was very clean and quiet. We loved listening to the creek all night. The sky was beautiful both day and night. We will definitely be back😉
