***Update 8/31:  There is WIFI at the cabin hope to have it available for the campsites soon, waiting on equipment.  If you would like the WIFI password just text me after you book

***Update 7/5:  Fourth of July weekend is winding down.  It was great to meet everyone and I hope you had a good time.  The Bathroom is available now. it is located in the cabin, please use only the toilet paper provided, do not flush anything else down the toilet.  The sink is operational also please conserve water as much as possible and bring your own hand towel to dry your hands.  Please shut the cabin door at all times and refrain from touching anything in the cabin, it is a work in progress.  Added a new picture with directions, Site 3 is not more cleared and leveled

**Update 6/28:  Re-aligned the map and added a seventh site.  the seventh site is right in front as you cross the bridge.  Cleared the drive to site 5 a bit better.  If you proceed up the back path to the right, runs next to the cabin and then loop around to site 5, it is drivable.  You can take a car but an AWD vehicle is better

**Update 6/23:  Last saturday was a wash out.  No electric yet. I will be working on the bathroom in the cabin on Saturday and should have the bathroom available after that.  Some signage is now up.  The 3 creekside sites have signage and rock has been laid on the driveways up to the deeper woods camping spots

Beautiful boutique camping sites on 75 acres with seasonal rushing creeks, 2 acre fishing and swimming lake with a zip line, rock quarry fishing pond at the front of the property, numerous hiking trails-with multiple cleared camping sites, paddle boat and 8 ft fishing boat available.  PLEASE USE ALL FACILITIES AT YOUR OWN RISK.

There will be no more than 10 campsites to give you plenty of space to relax without being piled on top of each other like the other commercial campgrounds.  There are camping sites that you will not even know there is anyone else around.  Camp sites for all levels of campers, all accessible by car or some by AWD- lower creek side (5 sites)- steps from waterfall- 3-points lookout- deep in the woods- lake view 1

Come see the beautiful monarch butterflies in the fall and the abundance of wildlife throughout the grounds

We are constantly improving the land including the ability to clear out your very own site to camp

So much to do and so relaxing

Oh, and it is about 5 miles to friendship, enjoy the friendship festivals without the craziness

All proceeds will be invested back into the property to make your experience better every time you stay

New Photos coming soon. Sites 5 and 6 are up a small hill and in cleared sites in the woods, tents preferred at those sites.

One of the best hipcamps I've stayed at so far. Host kindly offered any campsite for us to choose from since none were reserved. Strongly considered site 1 but opted for our original site 7 due to being conveniently tucked into a wooded area surrounded by tall rustling trees adding to the peaceful ambiance. Beautiful creek running through the property with a small waterfall emptying into a shallow pool perfect for kids (site 1). Fishing in the pond was a blast easily hooking giant bluegill and a few largemouth hiding near the shore in the vegetation. And to top it off riding on the zipline over the pond was a nice change of pace to such a relaxing stay. One day was definitely not enough to enjoy such a wonderful place with gorgeous natural terrain. Will be back in the future for a longer visit!

Nice little hidden gem within a reasonable drive of Cincinnati. Lake activities were a blast. Primitive campsites with access to a a bathroom. Everything we were hoping for - no more no less. Two kids under 10 really enjoyed the creek and zip line.

Sleeping next to and listening to the waterfall was absolutely amazing! Ole 800 is definitely a hidden gem! I'm looking forward to making a future visit after more work is done!
If you're looking to stomp around in the creek that surrounds the property for miles, fish on 2 different ponds and meet super friendly neighboring campers and their pups, then this is your place. We didn't try the zipline this time, but look forward to testing it out on a future visit.
Kevin shared stories about the pond by the road and while we didn't find any secrets, we did find lots of fish including a beautiful 2 lb large mouth bass!

The host, Kevin, was so incredibly kind and went out of his way to accomodate us. He is a great guy. Beyond that, the campgrounds were GORGEOUS. The creek was perfect for strolling through and hanging out in. We also saw tons of butterflies and dragonflies. Also a great spot for stargazing. Theres zero loght polution out there. We had a great stay and are already planning our next trip back.

Being my second trip to Ole 800 Campgrounds in just 2 weeks, I can say we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would absolutely recommend it as a great destination. Just secluded enough that you feel you are camping on your own, but easy enough to interact with others if more camp sites are booked, it's a great balance. Kevin Is a great host and the land is beautiful. My Wife and 2 Boys had a great time and we will absolutely be going back!

My dog, Roman, loved the shallow creek!

Our stay at Kevin’s property was everything we hoped for and more! We had a large, shady, secluded campsite by the creek that made for an intimate weekend off the grid. Kevin was extremely flexible with us, made sure to communicate directions, and even stopped to say hi on our second night. The property is gorgeous and it is clear Kevin is passionate about making updates that will make for an even better camping experience in the future!
