Hill Springs Campground sits on our 120-acre family farm. We are the 3rd generation to own this slice of heaven. Our campground is 'in the middle of God's country as we are miles from the nearest town. Our rolling hills provide hay for our cows & wood for the woodstove. We take pride in our farm and can not wait to share this experience with you.
A short drive through the hayfield will bring you to our bright and sunny pond area. This location will hold up to 3 RVs or plenty of tents. (If you are a large group traveling together contact me and hopefully I can have you all near each other).
(5-15-2021 ATTENTION! We lowered our pond by 10' so we can build a dock. Until we get rain and it fills back up we aren't allowing fishing or swimming. Sorry for the inconvenience).
Fire pits will be provided at both locations, wood can be purchased from our farm. (see extras)
The sites have no water, electricity, or internet but generators are welcomed.
A toilet will be provided.
Please take all your trash home with you, including cigarette butts.
A few videos of the campground can be found on our Facebook page 'hillspringcamp'.
If you are interested in the April 2024 solar eclipse camping let me know. Spots will fill very fast.

This is a nice place for private camping without a road or house barely in sight. We had a very large camper and was on site 1 which is by the lake/pond. It is easily accessible, nicely mowed, and has a nice level area for setting up a camper.
The view is very open with rolling hills of hay fields and tree's along the property's borders. Know that this site has no shade, so prepare accordingly.
The lake/pond was great to cool off in. It is clean and deep enough for swimming. It was a savior for us allowing us a place to cool off and it was great entertainment for the kids during our downtimes.
The outhouse was nice to have too as it relieved some of the strain on our camper septic capacity.
We took our dog which loved the open area to run and play.
Being close to Patoka lake was a draw for us too.
I give it a two thumbs up.

We loved camping by the pond at Nicole and Bryan’s farm. The directions/sign were easy to see. The views were awesome with the pond, dock, trees, pastures, setting sun… stunning! There’s a 2 person swing, a picnic table, and a fire pit on site. The outhouse is very clean with no odors. Nicole came over to check on us in case we needed something; she was friendly and thoughtful. We would most definitely return there when we’re in the area!!

This location is absolutely beautiful. The site was at the top of the hill next to the pond and you have open vistas across the rolling hills. The stars at night were amazing and worth staying up late for. Bryan And Nicole were most gracious hosts. They were very kind and thoughtful. You will love staying here.

Wow... this review.... THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You two were fabulous guests.
Bryan & Nicole were great hosts. We experienced a little rain and they offered up their own canopy to keep us and our food dry. They made every accommodation we requested. The farm was beautiful and we really enjoyed having the space. Our dogs were in heaven. We will be back

Thank you for the review.
My husband and I had an awesome time — beautiful landscape. We were the only people on the property for our stay and loved being able to get away to enjoy the outdoors. By the pond you have a lovely view of rolling pastures - the perfect spot to relax. Gorgeous stargazing. The hosts had provided a picnic table, elevated fire pit with a cooking grate, and a pit toilet that all enhanced our stay. Our dog loved running around as well!

Thank you for the review!
Our goal was to get a good view or the Perseid showers. Normally we camp to get a good spot. This is the first time we used private property. The area had reasonably low light noise in the sky which resulted in very good viewing.
We knew we would be getting in late, so we would not be greeted. The directions and the sign were perfect.
We had a great time.
Thank you Bryan and Nicole for sharing your farm with us.

David, what a great review! Thank you so much. I am glad everything turned out for your viewing the night sky.
This is a really nice spot! Would totally come back.
