Heritage Farm is a working alpaca farm with over 50 alpacas you can watch and interact with. Make friends with our black Labrador, Juno.  Also residing on the farm are a flock of chickens, several barn cats and our horse, Stormy. If you want to, you can help with the daily chores of feeding the animals and collecting eggs. After that, you can explore the big red barn that was selected as one of the top-ten Bicentennial barns in the state. Roam around the 120 acre homestead, woods and creek and soak in the sights, sounds and smells of the farm.

Activities for kids include helping with farm chores, crossing over the creek on a suspension bridge, hiking trails, wading in the creek, and swinging on the large platform swing.

Be sure to visit our farm store before you leave where you can shop for alpaca products such as sweaters, hats, mittens and scarves. Pick up some farm fresh eggs from our flock of pastured chickens!

Stayed with Tim and the alpacas for 2 days of family camping in our camper. The farm is beautiful and Tim is a wonderful host. He was super accommodating, setting up a fire ring for us and allowing us the use of the event barn and his ping pong table, which my kids loved. The rooster is an early riser, so keep that in mind if you like to sleep in! LOL. Juno is the sweetest dog and came to visit on a regular basis. I would definitely suggest a stay at Heritage farm. Alpacas rock!!

We had a great stay at Heritage Farm! The farm is beautiful, the alpacas are really pleasant animals, and the owners were lovely. My kids loved feeding the alpacas and checking for eggs. They also just ran around and played, like kids should do!! We stayed in our RV, but they also had a house and cabin for rent, and tent camping available, so it would be great for a big family get together! Just watch out for the rooster if you have little ones! He’s a bit aggressive (as roosters often are) , but Tim was happy to put him away for us. Their shop is a great place to pick up gifts, and they were not pushy at all about selling. The eggs are amazing, so be sure to get some if they are available!

The alpacas were awesome! They all have such distinct features, and they all have names! Tim let us pet one of the babies :) Feeding time. Exploring the barn loft.

Our stay at Heritage Farm was exceptional.
Hosts Tim and Beth were very welcoming and accommodating. Their farm is a treasure to which they have lovingly opened up to visitors. Our June stay boasted incredible sunsets, fields of fireflies, and cool nights wandering the grounds and gazing at the herd of alpacas. Don't pass up the chance to stay here and escape from the hustle & bustle and unwind. If we are ever through Indiana again, we will most certainly be back for a visit.

We had a wonderful time at Herotage Farms and would highly recommend. Our kids had a blast with all the farm animals and helping to feed the alpacas.

An immaculately kept farm and friendly owners, it was a pleasure to stay there even for just a single night. We also loved the gift store, and bought some beautifully dyed rug yarn which eventually will become a throw rug for our little casita.

We had a most pleasant experience at The Heritage Farm. Our host was so accommodating, helpful and gracious. The site and farm spacious and fun to walk around. We were treated to a hay ride, enjoyed a tour of the farm and an explanation of alpaca raising, and roamed the pastures and woodland. There is also a small zip line. Of course, the alpacas were quite the attraction. We spent a very nice day and a half there, just taking in the peace and quiet of the place and relaxing. There is also a small shop selling handmade items of alpaca wool, much of it woven by the owner of the farm. There are 4 RV sites available, a guest house, and camping sites. Everyone had plenty of space, and no one felt crowded.

My daughter's first time camping and Heritage farm set the bar very high. Tim and Beth are lovely hosts. Plenty of room to stretch out. Serene environment. A must visit for campers with kids. We loved watching the alpacas, chickens, duck and hanging out with Juno. They have built something special and it was a joy to soak it all in.
