We now have 3 buildings for rent. The Cozy Camping Cottage, the Camping Cabin and the newest addition is our A-frame which is the most secluded spot on the land. - Voted best Hipcamp in Indiana to visit for 6 years. - Listed on Rachael Ray Magazine's "8 of America's Coolest Campgrounds" We offer a "Camping Cabin", The "Cozy Camping Cottage" or tent camping in Black Walnut Grove, in an open field, in the woods, or a shady grove. We like to interact with people or you can keep to yourself and have a quiet getaway in the woods. Sorry, but the tree house isn't available to rent since it is my home. I may rent it out in the future. Also in progress is the "Dome" We are on a solar powered, off the grid 30 acre homestead that has 24 acres of wooded land and 6 acres of groomed land. Come explore our land and relax in the "Tree Web", see the 2 story tree house that I live in, have fun on the tire swing, or just sit and enjoy all that nature has to offer. You can explore our interesting topography that has close to 100 foot of elevation changes, our (mostly) dry creek system that starts with 2 springs that drain into 3 sinkholes or walk 3 miles of trails (if you follow each trail from end to end). We love groups - Host your event here or have a group gathering with all your friends and family. We have spaces large enough to host hundreds of people. We welcome pets for camping, but no pets allow in the Camping Cabin. Also be aware that we have 2 friendly dogs on the land that roam freely. - 3.5 miles to Marengo Cave - 7 miles to the Blue River (canoes, rafting and swimming) - 30 minutes to Patoka Lake - 37 miles west of Louisville - 13 miles north of Interstate 64

Would camp again, awesome host
Kerry was super proactive and accommodating, especially with a lot of campers around for the eclipse viewing. He helped me find a spot with other friendly campers and checked in throughout the weekend. Overall, an awesome stay, just make sure to bring a table to cook on since the picnic tables aren’t at each site.

Peaceful, wild, and free land
Our site had a field on one side and forest and dry creek on the other. Animals wandered around through our site, but never disrupted us or our things. Fire pit at every site. Outhouses. Trails. Dishwashing station, water spickets around. Very clean and peaceful. Surprisingly, the early morning and daytime hours were quiet—with the eclipse party, the evening was louder, but not disruptively loud! Lots of kids roaming free, but they did not disturb us. Beware of a neighboring dog at the entrance who bit and scratched our bumper and scratched up our vehicle’s door and paint with its teeth!

💫👌👍🫶
Being able to spend time on Kerry's land was absolutely amazing! Kerry was SUCH a great host, checking in and making sure we had everything we needed and making sure our time was going well. The land was beautiful, so much open space and trees. There are hand-built cabin type buildings, so many camping spots amongst the trees, a woven nest type thing in the trees that you can sit in, an igloo type building, and lots of paths to explore. It's the perfect place to come, relax and spend some time in nature. Talking to Kerry was so much fun, he's such a smart guy and really knows his land. I'm super excited to come back and see what he's come up with for his land next! I never realized how cool this part of indiana was. The indiana valley is beautiful. 10/10 experience!!!
