No tent needed! We have built a small building just for sleeping in. It's 4 foot tall, 4 foot wide and 8 feet long. It has windows and doors so you can just pull in and be setup in a matter of seconds. It's off the ground has plenty of windows and a big door with a screen so you can stay cool and dry in any weather. It's in a prime location that is close to the outhouse, shower house and Tree Web and has it's own small yard in front of it with a fire pit. 2 people can fit in the Cozy Camping Cottage but if you want to have more people they can camp next to your site. You can add them here or book through the Black Walnut Grove listing. It is the same either way you do it.
The Cozy Camping Cottage requires you bring your own bedding (There is a mattress with a waterproof cover on it). Anything full sized or bigger will work.Kids are people too - Please include all people when booking your site.
We love groups - Host your event here or have a group gathering with all your friends and family. We have spaces large enough to host hundreds of people.

Great camping spot! It was nice to not have to set up a tent! The sites are spread out, outhouses and showers are available, areas to walk and explore. The property owner is nice, helpful, and laidback. Some nice neighbor dogs hung out with us & our mastiff. It was nice to be able to keep our dog off the leash and let her comfortably explore. We will definitely be back!
We arrived Kerry met us at the entrance to the grounds, Kerry showed us around . We loved the fact that we were off the grid. We took walks and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We also were greeted each morning by (dogs) Jersey and Maynard made us feel right at home. We cannot wait to return.
This is my second trip to Kerry’s little woodland paradise! I slept like a log under the tinkling of rain on the tin roof. And the morning shower in the trees was divine. I think I’m gunna make it an annual tradition!
Kerry was great! He was super helpful and made us feel welcome. There is space to explore on the property and lots of areas to hang out with a larger group. We loved the hanging net! The cozy cabin really only fits two people but we were able to just barely squeeze three into it. Highly recommend!
We loved our stay in the Cozy Cottage! If you’re visiting in the cooler months, definitely prepare with warm clothes and sleeping bags! The land was beautiful and we found some very cool rocks. We plan to come again with our kids!
Kerry was a great host! He was welcoming and attentive. He even offered me a heated place to sleep since it was colder than I expected outside which I was beyond grateful for. His land is beautiful, the puppy was super cute, the tree weave was awesome, and I would recommend it to anyone passing through!
Wonderful host, and peaceful spot - what more could you ask for?
We had a wonderful time and would definitely go back. Kerry was very friendly and helpful. We will go back for sure! 😁
