We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on Rhonda's land! It was so peaceful and a great tenting spot. Flat places under the trees; grassy area so no mud or flooded spots when in rained; plenty of room for a kitchen tarp and we fell asleep to beautiful woods noises.
The best part may have been Rhonda and her family! Very friendly and accommodating, she took great care that the supplies (TP, water, umbrella!) were plentiful and that we were safe. She had creative comforts that enhanced our sense of rustic camping. They were so nice and up our alley, we'll have them for dinner and fire next time!
Slight anomaly with the neighbors: they seem to be practicing a bit for hunting season. Being city folk, it was a bit surprising, but after the noise died down, the trip was wonderful.
Really a great escape, and yes, LOTS of fireflies!
Ronda’s site was a great place to camp. It was very accommodating for the place and her and her husband Travis are so nice. I will definitely camp there again the next time I’m in Indiana.
Nature at its finest!!
Best experience across any apps we have tried!! Ronda and her husband were beyond amazing and helpful. Gave us so much privacy and allowed an amazing experience for me and my family. Property is very well maintained and you will want to go back for sure!
Ronda's land was perfect for an Indianapolis stay! Outside of the city, the campsite was beautiful and full of fireflies during our campfire. We were greeted upon arrival and even offered extra firewood. Excellent hosts!
True outdoor experience- 🤩fireflies
😍A True Name for the Experience!! Come for the fireflies, my son wants y’all to know they look like diamonds twinkling. You’re able to pick your camping spots. You could do larger group camping trips and multiple camps with have their own fire pits! The outdoor toilet is an Actual Toilet Setup!!
Bike tent camping
Ronda's area for tent camping was very nice. Ronda & husband met us in the driveway, very pleasant couple!
The area was very clean, well taken care of, open wooded area next to a field that had a nice constant breeze which I believe help keep the mosquitos away!
We had an electric extension cord, water and toilet if needed.
A must stay!
Above and beyond! Incredible trails, picturesque area, an awesome fire pit, and gracious hosts who are willing to help create the best experience for you in any way you need. Couldn't recommend higher!
