For two weeks every year we open up our exclusive Girl Scout camp to non members. Our camp sits on 78 acres of woods and rolling pasture in Henry County just south of New Castle, IN. It is readily accessible from Interstate 70. The camp is located approximately 55 miles east of the Indianapolis, and approximately 34.5 miles west of Richmond. Our facility offers primitive camping along with indoor accommodations. Primitive camping includes use of bathroom facility. There is no shower available. Portable fire bowl with fire wood provided. There is no electrical hook up or water. We do have accessibility to water to fill up gallon jugs for basic cooking and cleaning.

We do also offer indoor accommodations which include kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping wing that offers 12 cots. But you must book that separately.

This is a family friendly camp. Campers are asked to be responsible when consuming alcohol. Possession of alcohol by persons under the age of 21 is against the law in Indiana; and this will be enforced. Youth groups must be under adult supervision. Quiet hours are from 11 p.m. until 7 a.m. At night, voices carry so moderation is essential. Generators or other similar equipment which produces noise may only be in operation from 7 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. At least one person at the campsite must be 21 years old. The responsible party registering for the campsite shall remain at the site for the entire stay.

There is a communal fire bowl with fire wood provided. The property offers a lodge for indoor board games and movie nights on designated evenings. Extra activities for additional cost include archery and hatchet throwing for an additional $25 an hour and includes certified instructor. Other activities around the area to check out while there include the Hoosier Gym, Basketball Hall of Fame, Baker Aqua Center, Winery's, and canoe rentals in York Town, 30 minutes from property.
