Quiet and spread out primitive car camping sites with nice bathrooms and shower
My girlfriend and I enjoyed a two night stay at MHP. We loved the trails especially look out point #1 (pack in a lunch and eat with a great view). We had a great experience with staff and also like the addition of the fire ring at the levee site. Our stay was very enjoyable and we will return soon.

Beautiful spot! My dog & I loved it.
We love twnt camping there. We will be back.
My wife and I had a wonderful time camping at McCullys. I recommend this stay to anyone trying to get away and get in touch with nature. 5 stars
This is my third time at McCully. It is beautifully maintained. The trails are clear. The bathrooms are room, clean, and warm. We will be back again.
What a great place to camp. Restrooms were clean and easily accessible. Camp sites were labeled, spread out, and hiking trails around your site, it was a stop shop. Highly recommend.
The camp was very beautiful. It was nice that the bathrooms were available a short walk away. The bathrooms were clean and spacious, so it’s easy to change in them, which was very nice. It was much appreciated that there is a wagon to help haul stuff to the campsite. Though it’s about 800 ft or so, it makes it a lot easier than carrying things by hand or on your back. Also, things were clearly signed and marked. They have bags of wood for the campers to take for a fire as well, and sawed tree stumps to sit on around the fire pit as well as a picnic table. The campsites were also nicely spaced apart.
This is definitely a site for those that like camping with their tents in a more wooded environment since you’re a bit away from the car, bathroom, and lights. It’s not so far that it is inconvenient, but it’s far enough so that you get a bit more of the authentic camping experience. It is definitely dark, so make sure you have a lantern or flashlight.
We enjoyed our stop over and would love to come back to check out the trails more as we stopped to camp in between destinations and did not get to spend enough time to check out the area properly. What we did see was very beautiful. Also, as we were leaving the campground, we saw that they had a class going in the pavilion on the other side of the property with a group of kids, which was nice to see.
Beautiful property with tons of space in between sites, great stay. Definitely recommend.
