Mandy’s place was so cute. She greeted me at the gate and let me know where to park and where everything was. She also responded to me very quickly when I had driven too far.
My dog’s favorite was greeting all the beautiful horses and saying hi to the goats. She couldn’t contain her excitement.
There was plenty of room for me to turn around and park my trailer, and it was a very calm and serene setting. I definitely recommend staying here, especially if you’re going to explore downtown St.Luis, as it is only 20 minutes away :)

Mandy was very hospitable and the spot is flat and sufficiently secluded. The portapotty is kept very clean and all the animals are super friendly. I recommend Happy Trails to anyone looking for a nice getaway in the area!
What a wonderful gem. Mandy met us and showed us around the farm. Introducing us to the goats and llamas and horses. Thanks Mandy for a memorable night in St. Louis.
We hoped to have success using Hipcamp for the first time but it went the complete opposite. I was informed that cell phone coverage wasn’t an issue prior to arrival to find out we had zero Verizon. That simply wasn’t acceptable for remote work. The site had large metal storage containers right across from campsite which are very ugly and not enjoyable to look at when camping. I notified owner on the first day that we wouldn’t stay. I didn’t expect a refund for that night or possibly even the second night but perhaps the third night she would consider refunding us. It wasn’t a ton of money to lose but thought she would take our complaint into consideration and offer us some goodwill. That simply wasn’t the case. I assume there are better Hipcamp hosts out there but this wasn’t a good experience. We didn’t feel safe leaving our children in the area.
We stayed at Happy Trails Farms twice because Mandy is so welcoming, the farm is beautiful, and it's very conveniently located if you are traveling. Our kids LOVED seeing all the farm animals.
Mandy’s farm is great! The kids loved all the animals. Mandy was very responsive and made us feel very comfortable.
Mandy's farm is a very nice place to stay! We were welcomed warmly and provided with everything we needed AND the opportunity to pet the horses. :) The field to park in was quiet and pretty. We'd definitely recommend!
