You’ve Arrived! This privately owned land is 15 minutes south of Highway 64 and one hour from St. Louis. Your stay here includes access to a large indoor area with games via a keypad entry. The games include air hockey, ping pong, and fooseball. During favorable weather an outdoor basketball hoop and ladder ball will be set up. There is access to water from an outdoor hydrant and two separate 50 amp hook-ups are available if reserved (site 1 or site 3). Sites 2 and 4 are for tents. The water from the hydrant is drinkable as it comes from the county water supply. Standard electrical outlets are available from inside the building and at the carport. There is also a refrigerator that is shared/available to use provided that you do not leave anything in it upon your departure. The freezer side has ice-packs that you can help yourself to/take what you need. Above the refrigerator is a few small foam coolers. If you need one for a side trip, please help yourself. The building has speakers with a bluetooth adapter that you can connect with your phone to play music. There is not a dump station/black water disposal. There is an outhouse toilet.
The property contains Elkhorn creek which flows year round, but is very shallow. The creek follows near the western and southern portion of the attached property. Children will need to be supervised as even shallow water can be dangerous. There are three wide hiking paths that can be enjoyed with leave no trace principles. The forest is home to whitetail deer, raccoon, woodpeckers, a barred owl, frogs, chipmunks and squirrels. I have been checking for ticks and have not found one at this time.
Nearby attractions include a nature preserve, Washington County State Recreation Area (boat ramp access and possible dump station), the Rainbow Ranch, and various Illinois State Parks. If you want to get off the beaten path there is a wonderful butcher shop/sundries called Waller’s Market that is 10 minutes to the west and the town of Nashville is 15 minutes to the east and has various shops and grocery stores. Less than 5 minutes to the south is the B & B Quick mart.
The roads are very well maintained and easily navigable weather you drive a compact car, pull a travel trailer, or have a Class A. The road is paved except where the last 0.9 mile which is oil and chip. There is excellent cell phone reception.
The indoor wood-stove is not to be used and the overhead door can be opened and closed with extreme caution. Please double check that there are no children, people, or pets under the door when it is being closed and keep you finger on the up button just in-case something should unexpectedly come under the door space. Please close all doors and make sure everything is locked up before you leave the site. If you have a young child, please let me know so I can remove the ping pong and fooseballs at your request for safety purposes. By booking your stay you are agreeing that you will abide by the above rules and not hold the land owner or other parties involved liable for your health and safety. Please continue to take good care of the space so that others may also enjoy time with their friends and families.

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
My twin 12 year olds and I had a lovely time camping here. The amenities were great. My kiddos loved playing basketball and having a toilet. The camping spots were well maintained and honestly, there were other campers there (very nice people) but we hardly heard them. The spots are very spacious. The little hiking paths were also a nice treat. Beautiful little area in the middle of quiet farm land.
Really cool site. Private and rural. Lots of activities provided by the hosts in the large building on site. Basketball, ping pong, air hockey, cards and more. Just stayed 1 night but would definitely recommend for a longer stay. Great walking paths to walk the dogs and great wood lot scenery. Quiet stay. Would highly recommend for RV or tenter
What a beautiful place!
Excellent setup for any type of camper. I was amazed to find the reality of the campsite was actually better than the pictures! Seriously what an amazing setup with all the amenities and necessities included. Even the outhouse was spotless clean and even smelled fresh. The sink with soap outside was a wonderful touch to keep my kiddo’s hands clean all night. I can’t wait to return with a larger group and bring the rest of the family here this summer!
Quin was very responsive and respectful. I only needed a place to stop near the interstate: the property was quiet, secluded, and gorgeous! The common game space was well-outfitted: I hope to one day return!
Gorgeous stars, beautiful sites!
Everything about this stay was great. Quin was very communicative and quick to respond, and the site was in perfect condition when we arrived. The ground are beautiful and us and the dog enjoyed the options of three walking paths. Fire pits are at every site, along with picnic tables. We filled out fresh water tank and used the 50amp power hookup with zero issues. Stars were absolutely gorgeous. Just make sure to bring whatever you need, as you are (perfectly) in the middle of nowhere.
