Love water? Bring your boat and take it for a spin on the Pend Oreille River to Lake Pend Oreille. Launching is a short distance away at the Mud Hole, Priest River City Beach or Riley Creek Campground. Try your hand at fishing for bass, kokanee, perch, northern pike, and trout in the river or on the lake. Wake up in a peaceful woodsy setting where elk, deer, the occasional moose and turkeys roam the property and are often seen in the meadow. Camp surrounded by Old Growth Cedars and towering Grand Fir, stargaze by night, enjoy a campfire, smores and time with your family. Load up your ATV, side by side or motorcycle and head for Priest Lake right from here. It’s a 21 mile (50 minute ride) to Coolin, ID. Enjoy the back county and take some of the IDL roads along the way to explore scenic drainages and in July/August pick some luscious huckleberries (the state fruit of Idaho) for a pancake or milkshake treat. In the fall, a nice central location for hunting camp.

Want to go skiing or enjoy the summer lift ride? Head up to Schweitzer Mountain Resort, about an hour drive away (37 miles/56 mins). The city of Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille - Idaho's largest lake is a half hour away (26 miles/33 mins) and Silverwood Theme Park in Athol, ID less than an hour away (42 miles/53 min).

We are located near the Washington-Idaho border just outside Priest River, via highway 2, and 3.5 paved miles up the Eastside County Road across from the Mud Hole Campground. Address is 3593 Eastside Road, Priest River, ID 83856

This site is perfect, especially if your camping alone or with friends nearby... we used an extention cord for power and it was so handy....filled our tanks with water and was ready to go. Our trailer was 28' and it fit nicely...beautiful picnic tables for your meals and games...The property is very quiet and easy to find... easy in and out...close to town...
The porta potty is the cleanest I've ever seen!... really!!!!
Wildlife close by to see.. nice firepits with neatly stacked wood for your cookouts,
Smores, and enjoyment...beautiful night nights scattered among the campground, for your safety and finding your way..
Matt & Debbie are the nicest people I've met in a long time.. very helpful and even post events going on in the area...your greeted with a nice welcome letter on your picnic table...
Book now and get relaxing ....

Thank you so much for the great review! We so enjoyed you, Benny and your sisters stay with us and hope you come again sometime. Our porta potty once again, the star of our show. We looked for your re-hidden rocks but can't find the little blue one with "love all". Well hidden! Lol! Take care, Deb and Matt

This was a terrific place to camp. Matt and Deb have a great set up, keep it wonderfully clean and were terrific hosts. They went above and beyond with helping us work out logistics for something when we left and they were very accommodating

Wonderfully well kept and taken care of! There were 5 sites at under the cedars and all had all the amenities you would need for a successful camping weekend. Matt and Deb were both wonderful and helped make us feel at home but also gave us space to enjoy the quiet. Only 10 minutes from Priest River and water access!

Matt & Deb have an amazing site. Everything is neat, organized, and very clean. It's far enough off the beaten path to be quiet and perfect, but also close enough to the A1 Stop there that restocking is a piece of cake. I can't give them enough kudos on the cleanliness of the restroom facility. It is a Porta-Potty, but they keep it amazingly clean. We were visiting Silverwood Theme Park, which was about a 45-minute drive, but was perfect for what we wanted. Matt & Deb communicated very well and were very flexible and helpful.

We really enjoyed Matt and Deb’s campsite. It is a very quiet and peaceful setting and they have really done a nice job setting up their place. Everything is so clean and well kept and well thought out. Matt and Deb are very friendly and helpful. This is a perfectly located spot for those who are interested in being centrally located between Priest Lake and Lake Pend Orielle.
