Great spot. Quiet, clean, and lots of space. Bonus to have running water (but would be nice if hose had a nozzle as we had to walk back and forth to pump to turn on/off. Minor issue!). Overall awesome
This was my family’s second time camping on Anne’s property. It was perfect! Although the property is located right off the main highway, it’s so private and you don’t even notice the road noise because the sound of the rushing river below is so loud! We loved falling asleep at night listening to the sounds of the river. We enjoyed private soaks in the hot springs across the street. We had a great time! Highly recommend Anne’s beautiful property on the river.
Perfect private river site!
This location was stunningly beautiful! We loved the privacy of our own space. Water was a short walk across from the parked 5th wheel trailer. Porta potty was spotless and clean. We didn’t test the electric connection. We had tons of room to set up camp and enjoy the space. Highly recommend booking a rafting trip with Payette River Company that is close by - it was super fun!! There were ample trees for our hammock. If you fish with a lure bring your pole and scamper down to the river - the zone below the camp site is the best place to fish according to locals - the fish are small so not keepers but are a blast to catch! No cell/internet connection so be prepared to be off the grid! We plan to be back again- great place to camp!
The property was wonderful to stay at. We loved hearing the river close by and having the place to ourselves. Directions were right on the mark. We panicked a little when we first got there because none of the water spickets worked by the campsite. We found a working spicket over by the other building and all was right with the world again😊. We loved bringing our dog, everyone had a great time
***** 5 stars!
We loved our stay at Sawtooth Soul. Gorgeous location, walking distance to hot springs and star gazing.
We had a bit of a hiccup with getting the electric hooked up. However, big props too Anne, she had someone out the next morning to fix it. Thank you for taking great care of us!
Tucked off the hwy, close to boise.
Loved being able to have a spot already reserved on a busy weekend. The river was low and down a ravine but accessible. The highway was quite close but is higher than the campsite so that helps with the noise. We saw a couple otters on 2 of the days we were there and it was such a treat to see them play along the river. I was a little disappointed when the owners came and shared the area with us on our last night. Not a huge deal but their cabin/shed light was shining on us and we couldn't ride our ATV's all over for fear of being in their space. We could also hear their music which was a little disappointing when we were told we would get the space to ourselves. We were really looking forward to privacy after a not so great experience at Ponderosa State park earlier in the year. Overall, great place to stop right off the highway and close to Boise. Loved having Kirkham hot springs and ATV trail right down the road as well.
