Camping with lake view
Albert is a great host. His property is beautiful! We had our morning coffee while sitting looking out at the lake. The site was nice and clean an grassy. Great for tent camping. Would of stayed longer if we didn’t already have reservations at another site.
Pop up camper with a dog!
Alberts land is such a wonderful setting. We have our pop up camper on the truck that we parked down at the end of the property that overlooks the lake. My biggest thing was MINIMAL mosquitos. Hardly any! It was quiet. Enjoy the views of the horses on the pasture and sip your coffee on the white rock! Accommodating and wonderful! Pets allowed is HUGE!
Quick overnight near town
Easy to get to just outside Sandpoint. Lake view was beautiful. Property was clean and quiet. The owners are in a trailer on-site and are very accommodating. Porta- potty was extra clean with a motion light for after dark. They are working on a small bathroom with shower close to camp spots. Would stay again.
Lots of room with a great view of the lake. We camped in our Jeep with a Napier tent, set up our hammock stands and still had a lot of room away from other campers. Al and Sue were great hosts and very knowledgeable about the area.
I liked the grassy field area to hang out, nice views, but the area we were told to park in was sort of damp, and we left early when it started raining as we were worried about getting stuck in mud if the rain kept up (didn’t get stuck, thankfully!). No garbage or recycling facilities provided. Bathroom facility is just an outhouse. Didn’t feel like good value for the price, compared to the state park we camped at in the area the night before.
