A diamond in the rough. Our site is located adjacent to our residence, which is in the sparsely populated Gemstone subdivision in Driggs, Idaho. We use “country club” facetiously. However, we are centrally located to some real "gems" and provide as many luxurious details as a 1/4 acre well kept lawn and driveway can.
Teton Canyon and Grand Targhee Resort are a short drive from the club, and downtown Driggs is walking/biking distance. We are also an hour drive from Jackson Wyoming/Teton National Park and two hours from Yellowstone.
RVers can expect a paved driveway with water and power, access to a well maintained lawn with plenty of shade, hammocks, a fire pit, a charcoal grill, lawn games, a privacy tent with camp toilet and shower bag and a wood fired hot tub (wood and charcoal can be provided for an additional fee and the hot tub requires advanced booking).
Tent campers can expect all the above amenities and a nice, flat, and level place to pitch your tent!
So while you might not wake up to stunning views of the Tetons, this is a perfect place to use as a launching site for your own brilliant adventures.
Be aware: one social six-year-old, an old brown dog, and a flock of neighborhood chickens also reside on the property. We are happy to be social hosts and tour guides, as well as give you as much privacy as we can.

We enjoyed the fire pit and we even saw a moose walk through the neighbors yard! Brian was friendly. The availability of an extension cord was very handy so we could charge phones and what not. It’s not far from the Tetons and we enjoyed our time there very much
The stay at Gemstone was lovely. Our trip ended up leading us into the backcountry after some flight delays so we didn’t stay at Gemstone as long as planned. Our two nights there were nice, and it’s an easy trek to and from the mountains.
Brian's set up is TOP NOTCH! Best backyard "Country Club" camping I've ever experienced (especially with a dog!)... Everything needed is provided, location is great - close to town and hiking, Brian was super helpful orienting me and offering recommendations.
The Gemstone Country Club provides a welcome and comfortable place to camp in an area that hasn't much to offer in that arena. I put up a small tent back by the fire pit / hot tub area. The others in the party parked their rooftop camper in the driveway. It al worked ou very well. I would really recommend the hot tub. Quite a treat. I am so glad Brian and Sarah share their little bit of paradise with others.
wonderful space in a beautiful mountain town. we maneuvered our 28 foot travel trailer in the space with some tilt assistance as the drive pad is slightly sloped. wouldn’t advise anything bigger than 28 feet. huge yard all to yourself with fun spots to hangout. hospitable hosts and friendly neighborhood dogs. 20 amp electric and fresh water were great and all we needed during our stay. a fun town with lots to do. views of the tip of the grand from the yard. we saw a hot air balloon take off a few lots over one morning. we hope to be back!

Amazing Hosts! They were so friendly and accommodating. We had plenty of space to runaround and stretch our legs. They provided us with some great local knowledge.
We loved staying at the Gemstone Country Club! Brian, Sarah, and their daughter "D" (Diana), were very welcoming and helpful. Brian gave great tips for nearby restaurants and mountain biking. Driggs is a hidden gem of the Tetons. Very cute town within walking distance. GTNP is about a 45 minute-1 hour drive away. Sarah was a pleasure to talk to, very intelligent and great conversationalist. We took them up on the hot tub and their brunch, would definitely recommend you do the same! Sarah is an amazing cook. We plan on coming back for ski season, can't wait!
Brian and his family were so welcoming and had such a sweet touch with their welcome mailbox! Their backyard was gorgeous, spacious, and clean. So conveniently located close to Grand Teton’s west entrance. Would definitely go back
