Places to see near David's Hodge Podge Lodge
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Spent a beautiful night at David’s Hodge Podge Lodge. Arrived just before the sunset and David came out to greet us. We had a nice walk on the trails around our camp site where a moose was recently spotted. Flat spot for our van on a nicely groomed spot. Super clean port-a potty which we really appreciated!!
David provided great communication. There were a couple different areas he let you choose to camp. Very wooded area with some paths that David has worked on. I am traveling with a dog and it was an easy place to have a dog and the paths were great for a morning jaunt. It is not far from town on paved roads. His place had a nice gravel road. Potable water was great to refill for trip. Lots of deer, moose, and animal noises at night- which is awesome.
Quiet and accessible
David’s site is 15 minutes from downtown Coeur d’Alene, yet it feels secluded. Plenty of tent sites available with the basic needs. Portable bathroom is very clean and potable water is readily available. David came out and greeted us as soon as we arrived and gave us an informative rundown. We really enjoyed our stay and the surrounding area of Coeur d’Alene!
David’s land was exactly what we were looking for on our stop over between WA and MT. Beautiful drive to the property and a relaxing, private grassy area. Would recommend and stay here again!!
