What a fabulous place to stay!!! Lisa was extremely accommodating, helpful, and a blast to talk to. Can’t imagine a better host. If you are in the area, you really need to stay there, you’ll love it.

We tent camped on what we called her ‘great lawn.’ Beautiful place, with lots of shade. The flush toilet bathroom and sink was so nice to use. Fascinating mining history just up the road from the campground.

What a little gem! Lisa was a wonderful host. She met us upon arrival and gave us the lay of the land... horse shoes, fire pit, bbq and picnic table. Lisa even brought us marshmallow skewers to use. The bathroom was cute and clean to boot.
We alao got a history lesson. There's a ghost town within walking distance!
This was a great place to gather with friends and/or kids. We will come back again!

It was a great experience. the canyon road is narrow however there is plenty of room at near the mine property to turn our four large rigs. Lisa and Phil were great hosts. They filled us in on travel ideas and especially the Hiawatha Trail. I think we will have to return there and invest more time to explore the opportunities.

Lots of snow but easy to pull the van in for a quiet night sleep and nice bathroom. Great place to stop for the evening.

What a great and rare spot in the world...just down the road from a piece of history, the Burke mining town which is both eroding and yet very present to view through the lens of time. Lisa was warm and welcoming and we found the spot by following her directions (GPS was misleading for some undetermined reason, but we're used to this by now). My son commented on her fancy outhouse, "This is one of the best bathrooms we've found on the trip!" The mountain site was lush and memorable, the camping sites well marked and spacious, we slept on a soft pad of grass underneath...and Lisa came out and greeted us sweetly even though it was 10pm. Another win for HipCamp!

We had a great time at Lisa’s place. The campground is really beautiful and kept very clean. She greeted us personally as soon as we got there and helped us above and beyond as a hostess. Highly recommend :)

I was going to be by myself to ride the Hiawatha Trail and looking for a place to stay when I found Hipcamp. I had never heard of Hipcamp before, thought I would give it a try and found Lisa's place.

Lisa J's Land was a wonderful place to stay. Her property was well maintained. She made location very friendly and inviting with wonderful landscaping and added touches like grills, picnic tables, chairs and even a little sitting area next to the creek across the road. You could see the pride she takes in her property with all her personal touches.

I think her location would be great a group of friends or a family to stay to ride the Hiawatha Trail other adventures near the cute town of Wallace. I plan on taking my family and we will include some of the other sites and things to do in the area.

It was a wonderful little area. Trees surrounding everywhere fun walks and neat parts of History spread out all over the place. We were pleasantly surprised at how much there was to do in the area the beauty of the creek and the surrounding Wilderness areas and the kindness and friendliness of Lisa. We even had one of our friends come and he didn't have a sleeping mat and they were kind enough to provide one for the night. I would very highly recommend heading up and checking out the area and we will most likely return again soon.

Stunning site close to 90 but felt deep in the Silver Valley. Lisa and her neighbor were super welcoming and shared the history and photos of the area when it was a mining town of 4,000 people crammed into the valley. We were in Site #2. Not a private site, with campers next to us and in the RV behind us, but everyone was respectful and we were happy to be able to hear the creek and sit by the fire pit. Amazing stars at night- pretty sure we could see the Milky Way. I was sorry we didn’t have more time to explore historic Wallace. Flush toilet was a bonus! Would love to come back!
