Lots of great hiking nearby.
Teton and Darby Canyons nearby have places to climb.
There are almost always deer wandering around nearby. An occasional moose and maybe if you're lucky, elk!

Parking in an open field near my hostel.

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
I stayed here in late September so I was the only person at the site. Toilet wasn't available, but that's okay since I got in late and took off early. Beautiful property just on the west side of the Teton's.
Very primitive, accurate descriptio
Description was accurate. If you’re just looking for a place to park your car and sleep like myself, this location is fine. There is also a hostel I believe with rooms on the property if you needed something nicer. They had a plastic toilet which usually has a tent, but I guess it was windy so it was just a toilet in a field. If you enjoy pooping by moonlight this can be well suitable for you! I will certainly remember this poop (and luckily I was the only one camping in the field the night I stayed). lol
This worked out fine for me. I was traveling by myself and just wanted somewhere to Car Camp. Pulled in late evening, pulled out by 8:00 a.m. Used the tent toilet once and it served it's purpose.
Would be ice to have some solar lights in the evening or an option for a shower but overall it met my needs.
We have a 25 foot RV. Driving the pasture is very bumpy! Especially since the instructions are not to drive in previous tire tracks. We did enjoy the view from the first row, and liked being close to town.
