The Waterfront Tent Site is perfect for a solo tent guest or a couple, with a built-in firepit in the corner of the tent pad. Within inches of the Pond’s water line and reeds, 15x20 Waterfront easily accommodates a small to medium size tent.  No children allowed in this tent site. Parking is on the opposite side of the gravel lane (marked with a sign "Cottonwood Tent Parking"), approximately 50’ away, or if you'd like to park tight along Waterfront you may. includes use of our no fee deluxe restroom and shower house that is not too far from Waterfront.

Our deluxe no-fee Loo-uvre Restroom and Shower House is a welcome amenity to campers, and is a short walk from Waterfront.  A bistro table and two chairs is positioned in the shade near the tent site.

We are especially known for our beautiful grounds and our famous little Borrow Barn, full of complementary activities including pedal boats, disc golf with maps/discs/scorecards, croquet, badminton, bocce, and much more including Little Free Library #69967.  No swimming in the pond, moving from paddle boat to paddle boat, standing up in paddle boats, or pedaling in opposite directions when there are two pedalers.  Namaste.

The recreation canyon that we are in boasts numerous activities including a Hot Springs facility, miniature golf, a nine hole executive golf course, driving range, repelling wall, loads of short and long hikes, a pizza parlor, and hundreds of miles of ATV trails, as well as world-class fishing on the Snake River With access just across the road from our property. We are 20 minutes from Bear World in Rexburg, and two hours from Grand Teton Park and Yellowstone National Park regardless of which of the four routes that you take, with each route including a beautiful waterfall. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes). Both routes are beautiful with waterfalls, gorgeous mountain views, and Idaho countryside.

ESSENTIAL--  Given that we only run self check in, have dark skies with no street lights and few street signs, and the spottiness of non-verizon cell service, please expect a text with pictures to your cell phone listed with Hipcamp. Aspen grove was beautiful and the facilities were so nice. We would definitely go back and rent one of the cabins there. The waterfront site is small and Parking is across the driveway from the spot which isn’t too far but with the rain we were hoping to be right now that to our car. We actually switched to one of the open cottonwood sites and they were nice grass with a picnic table.

Great place to camp! You can tell the owners really care about this campground, and do a bunch to keep it maintained!

This was the perfect campsite for this non-camper. I cannot say enough good things about our host Sharon. She is the nicest person to chat with and it appeared she never stopped working during our stay. She definitely takes pride in her campground! I was also very appreciative of the clean bathrooms and showers. They were a lifesaver at the end of the very hot days! This place is a must book and I hope to pass through again one day.

We actually were moved back to a site in the “orchard” by a very helpful Tina, the on-site camp host, when the waterfront site was too small for our tent. The orchard site was wonderful.

This spot is very well kept. There was a picnic table near the spot and plenty of trees for shade. The only downside is you are near a road and parking lot so if you are a lite sleeper that may bother you. For us, it wasn’t a problem at all and we would definitely come back the next time we are in the area.
