Great off the grid cabins.
Great experience at the cabins! Very clean and well maintained property that had everything we needed. BBQ, hot showers, flush toilets, great fire pit, clean bunks. Also great location for parks and hikes on the east side of the island, and an easy drive up to the crater. Great value and very helpful hosts.
Very happy to stay here
Lot's of aloha here and so very nice to experience feeling very welcomed by Alika and his family.
Everything that we needed was on property from a cooler to bring to the beach, beach towels, soap, and cooking utensils (we didn't get to cook but wish we did because there was a new gas grill) Hopefully next time cos' I would stay here again.
Drive slow on the way in/out! Cos' plenty butterflies flying around in the driveway drinking the nectar of the native Hawaiian Ilima flower. Also, we saw two Pueo at night driving back and one of them actually guided us into the property, was very magical.
Quiet clean and comfy place in moun
Wonderful place, better than expected and everything clean, with most amenities you night need to stay in a quiet place. Alika is super friendly and helped us to feel confortable. 100% recommended
This place exceeded our expectations! My only regret is we didn’t stay more nights. The spot was super clean and the shower was hot. The hosts thought of everything to ensure our “camping experience” was pleasant.
The location was perfect. The property is around the corner from an adorable coffee shop and minutes from Haleakalā Summit. We had the opportunity to visit nearby towns and immerse ourselves in the local upcountry charm.
But, the best part of our stay was the bananas they shared for us that were grown on the property, and bringing up their pet boar to love on! We will definitely be back next time we visit Maui.
Awesome! stay here!
These cabins, we rented two, were awesome. Cozy and clean and easy. The bathroom, though outside, was adorable and spacious - well lit, clean, and well designed. Our family of four had a fantastic time for two nights at Alika’s cabins. He was a warm and generous host. We highly recommend the cabins for a comfortable, convenient, relaxing upcountry stay.
Thank you, Alika!! We love your cabins.
We had a great time at the cabins - the views are amazing and we enjoyed a camp fire, bbq, and stargazing. It was great visiting the upcountry on Maui, which has a more local vibe to it! Thanks!
