We had a great stay in upcountry Maui. Our cabin had everything we needed! It was a great way to escape the crowds and heat of the beaches, and a perfect jumping off point for exploring Haleakala National Park.
Highlight of our trip!
Alika and Pi‘ilani are such kind and wonderful hosts. Everything was impeccably clean with a super cozy bed and an extra blanket if we needed it. They have every little thing worked out like automatic lights that illuminate the short walk to the bathroom hut! Camping doesn’t get much nicer than this. We will definitely be back should we find ourselves in the area again!
Peaceful, warm, welcoming, easy,
The rustic cabin was a wonderful break from the hustle and bustle down in Kihei and Weilea. Alika and his wife are really sweet and helpful. The bed was comfortable and warm. It’s a bit more chilly up on the mountain. The view is remarkable and a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The instant hot water works great too! I highly recommend this place. And Grandma’s coffee is a perfect place for coffee and breakfast.
Serene property & breathtaking view
This was our second time staying in the Mountain Cabin in Kula and it was just as beautiful and serene as our first stay. Alika is a welcoming host and has made some appreciated updates to the property since we last stayed. It is amazing waking up to birds chirping and looking out at the breath-taking view of the island in the morning. As before, it was hard to leave and we look forward to our next trip to Maui and staying on this gorgeous property again. Tip: Stop by Grandma's Cafe for an amazing breakfast and coffee if you have the chance.
What a wonderful property this is. Cozy bed, private area, such an incredible view. Lovely hosts. This is exactly what we were looking for, and it was such a positive experience. Plus, there's goat yoga and a winery down the road, so cool! Would definitely stay again, thank you!!
It was indeed a place of relaxation. Kind hosts’ and fellow travelers. Upcountry climate was perfect with great views of Maui. Next time we’ll bring the family and rent all three cabins.
