Bay View Bungalow
Wonderful stay in a comfortable screened room on the high slopes of the Captain Cook area. No better shower anywhere. Great location.

Great place for a simple bed to sleep, screened room, nice views, friendly host. Easy to find.
Note: if you are a light sleeper be prepared… the sounds of the frogs are loud but I enjoyed it.

We loved staying at Jonathan’s. Simple and beautiful. The setting and ocean view couldn’t be more spectacular. Simple room, gorgeous outdoor shower, toilet is right there beside the bed (with some privacy) so hope you are comfortable together! Captain cook also has a grocery store, hardware store (to get camp stove fuel) and cafes/restaurants for low logistics necessities. Short drive down to many beautiful beaches!

Highly recommend. The place is absolutely beautiful. Jonathan is very patient. We got there in the dark, and he helped me find the place. Fresh bananas. Took a hot shower in the what felt like the jungle. The frogs didn't bother me a bit. They're actually great to fall asleep to. There's a view of the ocean, and make Sue you wake in time to get a sunrise picture. Absolutely wonderful would stay forever if I could.
