We are going back in 2 week!!!!
Anna got back to me on a Sunday 5 minutes after I requested. I got there 3 hours later and was welcomed and offered such hospitality. My daughter went to the barn to see the horses the next AM and bc she has beginner experience Anna taught her about early morning chores. She then got to take a lesson which was such an impressive foundational lesson for her! My husband, myself and our dog just hung out by the creek. Her property sits on 2 sides of the most deserted gravel road I’ve ever been on and I’m from the country. The creek site was gorgeous as was the field. We stayed by the creek and played. We have decide this will be a regular spot for us. We have a 32 ft camper and it wasn’t a problem making our way there or down by the creek.
Just book it...you’ll be happy you did!
We had an amazing time! Anna was a kind and attentive host. We camped by a creek and my kids played in the water all day long. The highlight of our trip was horse back riding lessons with Anna. She was fantastic and my kids loved it. We will definitely be back!
We are hipcamp frequent campers and this was our best stay yet. The farm was amazing and Anna, the hostess was very welcoming. We fell in love with the dogs and horses and paid the extra fee for lessons with the horses. My son who was afraid at first left saying that he wants to go back and volunteer and learn to ride all the time. The fact that the horses are rescues made this even better. We fell in love with White Dog Farm and will be back!
We really enjoyed staying here. It was quite fun for my kids. It was our first camping in a tent experience for them. We were greeted by Anna right as we drove up. She showed us around and even offered us to check out more than one spot. We chose the spot close to the road, under the tree, and near the horses. The horses were sweet. The bathroom is shared with the horses and a couple goats, I did not mind the animals but if you have small children like me then the horses (very gentle and nice) can be overwhelming to them. We just decided to potty outside and burned our TP in the fire. If you are used to primitive camping then you will love this place. Her farm is very rustic and I loved it. Anna was super nice to supply us with a contained fire pit and gave us a nice supply of wood to burn. She also told me to text her if I need anything. We had so much fun. Anna was a great host and we will be back!
We had such a beautiful trip to White Dog Farm! The creekside campsite is gorgeous and the picnic table is in the shade nearly all day. It was a perfect spot to stay with kids, and there was plenty of room for our pop-up camper. Anna is a friendly and gracious host, and the kids loved seeing the horses and goats. We will definitely be booking a return trip!
Great creekside campsite
This spot was great for camping with kids! The creekside spot was shady and beautiful with plenty of room for our pop-up camper. Anna was a great host and the kids loved meeting the horses. We plan to come back again!
Absolutely would recommend! If you need some time to you and a significant other or a small group that is adventurous this is perfect place for it. Plenty of nature activities near by with an abundance of beautiful scenery.
Nice quiet place to camp in a farm
We enjoyed our stay at White Dog farm. The camping area was large and well maintained. The kids had a large grassy area to run around. They loved the friendly horses and goats.
