Primitive camping

Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

2 acres of beautiful hardwoods. Wonderful flat primitive campsite at the top of a paved driveway. 1/2 mile moderate hike from the campsite to a gentle creek. 6' "Hangout Pod" brand swing with mosquito netting by creek. Great place to camp around the corner from Renaissance Festival Fairground and a short 5 minute drive to old town Fairburn. Only a 10 minute drive to Cochran Mill Waterfall. 30 minutes from Peachtree City, 15 minutes from Trillith Studios, 10 minutes from Tyrone.Pull in and pitch your tent in our 2 acre wooded lot. Hike down the hill to our private gently flowing creek and read a book or nature journal while you watch the mature hardwood trees sway in the wind. You'll have a picnic table for meals and the lot all to yourself. We are in the adjacent property if needed.

Second time here. All the positive feedback from the first visit still stands. Great spot close to the GA Renn Faire.

Right off the road

like camping in a front yard

it was a nice little spot. they had a picnic table and a fire pit. the fire pit had a top part you can grille on. a short hike down to the creek with a mosquito net swing and a tent with some supplies in it. it’s a short drive way right off the road. you have to bring your own toilet bucket, but there’s really no good spot to put it where the road or the two houses can’t see you. it feels like you’re camping in someone’s front yard. I should’ve read the reviews first. I didn’t hear from the host after booking my stay. I reached out twice. it was not the camping experience I was hoping for. we had kids watching us from up the drive way and a rooster will wake you up. Overall, we made the most of it and enjoyed our stay.

Right off the road

Lovely drive up camping spot

Very nice campsite in a neighborhood overlooking a small creek. I was looking for a safe place to sleep in my car for the night after making a late night delivery. The host was responsive, gave a detailed description of the location, and was ok with my late arrival. I wish I’d had more time to enjoy the very nice fire pit and picnic table. I loved waking up to the beautiful scenery. No toilets but there are gas stations about 10 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

Not private but fun creek

We were so grateful to have the chance to creek stomp with our kids here! The campsite is like it says right off the road and there are other people near by.
