The pond is very beautiful but...
When I arrived the first thing I noticed was the trash all over the field and all the trash cans were overflowing. Picked up what I could in my area. The campground is a huge open field there's absolutely no privacy whatsoever. The tent camping area is right next to a busy road. The noise from cars passing by took away from the peacefulness of the area. If you're on the RV side it may be quieter over there. Around 7pm, a random man pulls in the camp area and stops right next to me then starts circling me very slowly and watching me... he's so close that I can reach out and touch his car if I wanted to. As a solo female camper this made me very uncomfortable. It was hard to relax after that. I ended up leaving a day early.
Beautiful and cozy
This is a wonderful location to camp. We parked our truck and popped open our rooftop tent. We had a nice spot overlooking the creek. Easy check-in and great amenities. I highly recommend and would definitely go back.
Nice place to camp for the night. We got in late due to the drive and traffic. Host kept in contact with us which we super appreciated. Bathrooms were nice and able to put up for the night. The lake was pretty when we were able to see it in the morning... also listened to the train pass by at night (I know it’s silly, but we haven’t heard a train passing for a while) also little light house for the small airport near by kept the light spinning. Noticed a cop patrol at night made us feel a bit more safe (since we got in late and couldn’t really see the surroundings) overall a good stay! Thank you again!
